I agree U2 isn't what they used to be, but after Boy and War, when they were still trying to get peace in Northern Ireland, they were incredible, unbelievable passionate. Back when Bono had that rooster hair cut. If this is supposed to be the best of all time, there are some serious omissions there.

Thats exactly when I was in to U2. After the Joshua Tree, bleh.

As for the list, U2 wins every "top" list so its not shocking. If there was any way for them to be awarded a Grammy the years they don't put out albums, it would happen.

U2 is always at the top so that doesn't really surprise me.

It would make me a little bit happier is GD was bumped up a few numbers but 7 out of all the current bands out there is still pretty damn good!

U2 are terrible live.

If people think U2's live performance is anywhere near to good, then I don't know what's going on.

I agree with The White Stripes being so high though, they're good live better than U2.
