Guest Mike's Secret Admirer Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 idk if its too late to put my ? in ...but i'd like to know if Billie's fingers have guitar strings inprinted in them yet from all his playing?Don't take it personally, but...that's a totally worthless question.
andy4 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 i don't that we should waste a question on that cause we all know the answer even though it is said different some times and confusses usI don't think it's a real waste of a question. Why not just get the real answer?
amber87 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I really like the list . Nice work. The only question I'm a little iffy on is the John Lenon one, otherwise it's perfeco
Guest Mike's Secret Admirer Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 And I think Andres will ask that anyway XPYeah, just to annoy the shit out of us
ChemicEmotions Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 idk if its too late to put my ? in ...but i'd like to know if Billie's fingers have guitar strings inprinted in them yet from all his playing? No offense, but are you serious? I could answer that one for you.
VictimOfAuthority Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 ok im really not trying to be annoying but can i get more in put on this question whats the most meaningful lyric youve ever heard/written (to all the guys)
ChemicEmotions Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 QUESTION:Should we take out the John Lennon one, and have the remaining five as our questions? Or add anymore?
Fuzz Posted August 23, 2006 Author Posted August 23, 2006 I like the Insomniac one, but do you guys think we could combine 'American Idiot' in there. I kind of want to ask them the same question about that, but about now. Because they are in the same situation - writing another album after their previous was a huge success.
VictimOfAuthority Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 i dont like the john leenon as much as the others. . . .
andy4 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Yeah I like the whole list, I think all of the questions are good.
Guest Mike's Secret Admirer Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 QUESTION:Should we take out the John Lennon one, and have the remaining five as our questions? Or add anymore?Take out the John Lennon one and keep the remaining five. As far as I know, we don't have anymore fuckin' awesome questions.
Beej Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I like the list. So far so good.Did you guys wanted to exchange two of them for "If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?"and "What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"Those two questions seemed to be pretty well received. I'd certainly like to see them on there.

I kind of want to ask them the same question about that, but about now. Because they are in the same situation - writing another album after their previous was a huge success.Ah, good point...if we DO combine it, we could either lose the John Lennon one and think up another one or keep the JL one. What should we do?

I kind of want to ask them the same question about that, but about now. Because they are in the same situation - writing another album after their previous was a huge success. That's true.Should we keep the question about Insomniac or American Idiot? And also, should we keep the John Lennon one in there? [These are directed at everybody]."If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?"and "What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"I don't know. Those are.. sorta.. bland.. But if all else fails, we could either replace those two or the one about the whole "what's your most meaningful lyric" or something.
andy4 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Take out the John Lennon one and keep the remaining five. As far as I know, we don't have anymore fuckin' awesome questions.Sounds like a good idea.

[These are directed at everybody].American Idiot. That's one I'm DYING to know. I can definitely live with not knowing the Insomniac one.
amber87 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Take out the John Lennon one and keep the remaining five. As far as I know, we don't have anymore fuckin' awesome questions.I second that.

I kind of want to ask them the same question about that, but about now. Because they are in the same situation - writing another album after their previous was a huge success.I like the idea of combining them into one question. I think it'd make it easier for them to answer, and we'd get to ask another question that way.
Guest Mike's Secret Admirer Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 WE'RE SO ORGANIZED!!! *happy tears* Sorry, I just never thought we'd get to this point...
ifmemoryserves Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 ---"What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?"Sorry, but to me that's just a worthless question. You could ask anyone who has dealt with the loss of a loved one that. This is GREEN DAY.
stablesoulsgonebad Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 The Current List:---"What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?"---"As said by John Lennon, are you just a songwriter who happens to play guitar or a guitar player that just happens to write songs?" ---'When you were recording Dookie, you were still a band unknown to the mainstream. After Dookie became a giant success, you guys recorded Insomniac. Was it different to record Insomniac compared to Dookie, because you were known and successfull as a band now? Why?'OR [reworded differently]:---"Was the mindset while making Insomniac different becuase you had notoriety compared to making dookie where you had the freedom to not worry about success?"---"Are you trying to prepare yourselves mentally and emotionally for the next chapter of Green Day? Out there will probably be a lot of debate going on saying it's too different from American Idiot, or too similar. In other words, AI was obviously an amazing album - do you think you've put yourself in a hard position for what's to come next?"---"What type of nervous/bad habits do you guys have? Any little antics you have that drive the other guys crazy?"---"There has been a lot of rumours going around about Green Day-- whether it's from one of you dying, or you guys breaking up-- which ones do you think are the craziest? How did you react when you first read/heard about them?"Of these, the five I like the most are1. "What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?"2. "There has been a lot of rumours going around about Green Day-- whether it's from one of you dying, or you guys breaking up-- which ones do you think are the craziest? How did you react when you first read/heard about them?"3. "What type of nervous/bad habits do you guys have? Any little antics you have that drive the other guys crazy?"4. "When you were recording Dookie, you were still a band unknown to the mainstream. After Dookie became a giant success, you guys recorded Insomniac. Was it different to record Insomniac compared to Dookie, because you were known and successfull as a band now? Why?" (thiss is a good question, but I think that this could tie into the "next album compared to American Idiot" question)Well, actually that is only four. I like those four out of the six.
