Funny how it takes so long for that person to get to the bottom of the ocean, but then, the head floats right back up instantly.

Something to think about, kids ;)

ALL THESE CRAZY QUESTIONS are insane...and its going to be a butthole just picking 5! dam.....i saw at least 15 that were very awesome...i think those of us on the idoit club should use some of the un-used ones on the Q&A on the idoit club......mine r kinda lame, and i cant really remember those questions, that if i had the chance, i would ask them..but whatever...

-When Dookie got popular as it came out, where did you guys think where your music will go, or what would happen with your music/yourselfs 10 years later?

-Have you guys ever think twice about, your careers, and wondered if go out on top? or semi-on top?

(hhahaha.....ya that one doesnt make real sense)

And i think most of the 'fans' questions are awesome....like What was the most craziest thing a fan has dont to met u or what the weirdest thing a fan has said or did while meeting with u

Eh, I'd have to sift through my emails =\ I have a LOT of emails too. I never clean out the fucker.

BUT, I think BJ said something along the lines of 'I liked it'. Of course it's a lot deeper than that, but yeah, he pretty much thought it was cool what the creator did.

WAIT!

I found it.

"Originally, the goal was to point out just how similar some of the songs on American Idiot are to other rock songs. And at some points it's laugh-out-loud funny, because we're showing people how Green Day just stole some riffs," Ben said via telephone. "But there are also some tracks we did that created entirely new songs, and they're amazing. So we decided to put the entire mashed-up album online, and on November 18 we did. Unfortunately, we were e-mailed a cease-and-desist order on November 28, at which point we shut down."

Ben said that roughly as many sites participated in the December 13 American Edit Grey Tuesday protest as in the 2004 action. Though he's yet to hear from Warner, he at least knows that he's got a fan in Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, who, in an interview with MTV Radio recently, described the whole thing as "really cool." Ben's hoping that there will be another Grey Tuesday-style protest in the near future — not because he's looking to cash in on the whole thing, but rather so he can get his music out to even more listeners.

Here's the link

I don't see why BJ did, since it was basically a mockery of BOBD. But that's BJ for you: Don't give a fuck.

I found a link where you can download the songs and they are funny but interesting

Shut the fuck up. That isn't spam. We're supposed to agree on five questions, and I was stating that I liked that question. You can shove it.

You can settle down now, you said "I think I'll fuck it" what the fuck is that? I mean come on.. got anything better to do with your time?

First of all, here are some questions I've come up with (they are directed towards each memeber):

1) Have you ever done or said anything publically that you are ashamed of?

2) Which lyric, from any of your songs, do you think is most reflective of yourself (life, personality, attitude, etc.)?

3) As you have probably already figured out, it is an extremely exciting and nervewracking experience for a fan to get a chance to meet you. So for those of us who have not met you yet and would someday like to, is there any advice you could give to make the encounter as enjoyable as possible?

(That could also be rephrased as "What is the best way a fan can behave when meeting you? What are some things that should not be done or asked during the encounter?")

4) If you could meet anyone in the world that you haven't met yet (dead or alive), who would it be? Why?

I think this is a good question:

"Do you ever worry that because you've been honest about using drugs and alcohol, your children will think it's a good thing for them to do?"

I'd like to add onto it by asking something like "Do you still indulge in habits like drugs (weed, in particular) and drinking?" I've always kind of wondered that...

Here were some questions that I liked:

- What song do you think lyrically has the most meaning to you and why?

- What was the hardest song for you to write?

- What band is/was their biggest influence?

- To Billie: What types of thoughts and feelings were you having during the writing of "Coming Clean"? Was it because you were having feelings about a particular man and needed to write about it, or was bi-sexuallity always something you knew was in you?

- What is the craziest thing a fan has ever done to meet you?

- Have you ever read fan fiction? If so, what do you think about it?

- What type of nervous/bad habits do you guys have? Any little antics you have that drive the other guys crazy?

- How does your fame affect and influence your kid's lives compared to other kids?

- Are you ever afraid of the intense feelings, bordering on obsession, your fans have for you?

I LOVE BANKSY. I think it would be interesting to have this question answered:

- I find alot of the art of American Idiot reminds me of the Works of Artist Banksy. Also Tre's tattoo are inspired by two works of Banksy. I would like to know the Band opinion on the artist and if he had any influence on them.

^ I hear "AH SAY EVERAH TAHHHHHHHH," but you know...I could be wrong. :D

I'm really, really curious on the drug questions as well. Just the sort of-- "any career/personal regrets?" sort of thing that we might approve of, have a curiousity for, has influenced their image and now has changed or maybe not.

(My english isn't too good right now. Short story: The drug questions were good.)

God, there are so many questions I want to ask, all being of a very inappropriate nature. I also would like to know if Billie's thoughts on bisexuality still ring true (I respect him a lot more for the interview with the Advocate) or just their [the band's] thoughts on equality in general.

My own question-- Do you think you will begin to relate to your older songs now that your sons/daughters/children/offspring/whatever are growing up?

one question could be

why have you chosen to put up a scenonography that reminds a lot german third reich' icons during the AI tour?

Posted

Have you ever received a fan letter, that really touched your souls, or brought tears to your eyes ?

I like that one...would be interesting too hear.

And the 2 questions about drugs, dunno how honest they'll be about being asked if they still do take drugs though

This is great.. but I can't really think of any questions right now. I'll let you guys to take care of that! I'll just agree! :D

Okay well i guess I'll post the question I've submitted inot the idiot club on numerous occasions.

'When I saw your show at Milton Keynes I was totally overwhelmed when you guys came out onto the stage. To see my favourite band play live was amazing and to hear and see the crowd enjoy every minute of it as much as I did made it the best day of my life. How does it feel for you when you go on stage and kids are singing back every lyirc to you, letting you know they are enjoying every minute of it just as much as you?'
