flake Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Well if none of you are going to write to them cos you think they get too much fan mail. Maybe they are not getting any at all, and I can write a wonderful letter which they will read and reply to!!!Back to answer the question I haven't written to GD but my friends little girl, aged six drew a picture of Mike for his birthday last year. They sent it to him, and received a signed photo in return. My friend and her daughter were really pleased, I was really jealous!!
st.billie Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 nope, and i don't intend to. what would you say to them anyway? that they are awesome and whatnot? i'm pretty sure they already know all that.
Welcome to Paradise Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 me and my friends once wrote a letter to Spice Girls, and we got an answer. it took like two years. but who cares? but no, not written to Green Day. i was too mature when i started liking them
iluvgdlikecrazy Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 ive written to them like 4 times. i even sent a tie signed by many fans to billie joe for his birthday...but i dont think it got to him
...agustina... Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 But they're right, cause they probably wouldn't read it...I've never written to Green Day... Besides that they probably wouldn't read it (), I have no idea what to write them. Should I write how much I like them? It's poitless, they know how many fans they have and I think they really don't need to know about each person. So if I had a sensible reason then mayby I'd write to Green Day. But so far I don't have it.yeah...that´s true.
jjones Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 If you think about it, it really is an excellent way to spend 39¢.
Watoosh Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 i wrote to justin timberlake once and wanted him to be my pen pal because i had no friend except my justin pillow and lyndsea (and she lived ahalf hour away). haha. never green day though. and i was like, 10-11 years old then.
Nicolle Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 i've thought about it then decided not, they don't read the bloody things anyway
The Flunkie Only Along For The Ride Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I did around January of this year, haha. I decided that I'll write them every 6 months...it's getting about that time....I just write to them like I would a friend. Say what's on my mind, & making suggestions to them...like they'd consider them anyways, haha..
Lady Liberty Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 i wrote a letter but i didnt sent it - pointless :/
Adine Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Nope. I think I could do it if I had something to say. All I could write is ' I love ya guys, ya're the best band in the word.' ect. so no matter even if I won't write them.
don't_leave_me Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 if u were to write to them, what would the address be?would it be Green Dayc/o Warner Bros. Records Inc.P.O. Box 6868Burbank, CA 91510USA
Dai. Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Why cant there just be a "No" choice?I missed that one.
GreenDay-Idiot Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 hahaha I wrote things about them but never to them!
annie Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 The odds of them reading it are slim to none, so why waste my time? Besides, I wouldn't have anything interesting to say. Same thing they hear from everyone else.
starbucksfreak Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 i havent and not really planning on it eaither
