brain_stew Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 for the one who started this: it's a nice coincidence that you should ask how wearing a GD shirt affects me! because it really does i've been thinking about that a lot lately. i feel a lot more "visible" when i'm wearing a green day shirt. i feel like people pay attention to me more, sometimes that's great, and sometimes i'd just rather blend in. but people take notice all the same! wearing a green day shirt makes me more confident, but still at the same time it makes me act more carefully and think more about the image i'm sending to people around me.

I just laugh in their faces. It's funny how they never sing Metallica or Iron Maiden songs at me when I'm wearing their shirts. I love wearing my band shirts though

I really don't care what anyone says about them.I couldn't agree more.When I had a plain clothes day (we have uniforms) at school, some boy (I could tell he was planning it) says to his friend "DID YOU KNOW GREEN DAY LICKS BALLS?!" I thought that was pretty funny... People are terrible at insults these days...

Anyway my green day t-shirt is baggy cos its a mans 1, and i like baggy t-shirts for my riding so like if i ride for a particularly hard session im not gna come in with super bad pit marks etc. I also were it around town, and I love the look on teenies faces when they stare all kinda like 'OoH i'M lYk So JeAlOuS' god knows i did it when i was younger. My friends also borrow it when they want to look cool. In all my Green Day t-shirt makes me feel like a green day fan in a crowd. Trust me, I made one of greatest friendships when i saw her in a green day t-shirt. It's often what sepearates the fans from the teenies. The teenie's dont wanna wear the slightly unflattering design of a green day t-shirt. the fans are proud too. Trust me, i live in mine. Much better than some designer gear from abercrombie and fitch or whatever.
