Losing Interest In Green Day ?

I still love listening to there tunes, but I wish they would give us some details on how the new record is coming along and what not.

i listened to most of warning this morning. i'm not sure if it was the music or nostalgia, but it made me really happy. and i'm actually a tad bit excited for some new stuff.

Not yet, but coming on here, believe it or not, makes me more of a fan. I'm so occupied with what they're going to do next, I've lost some interest in some bands I used to like a lot. I look out for news and updates for tours as well. The one band that keeps me on my toes and I love to listen to when I cook.

Green Day got me into the type of music i listen to now. They changed me for the better, if i hadn't found Green Day i'd probably still be conforming to society and dressing and acting like everyone else. They also changed the way i look at things; be it politics, Global Warming or music itself.

so even though i can confess that i have been listening to other bands and artists alot more than Green Day lately. They still have a special place in my heart.

me too, i listen to a lot more different bands now... but the only reason im losing a bit of interest is cos we need new material I think ive worn out warning xD

i haven't been listening to them much. in fact, last time i listened to them was when i went all Warning era crazy. still love 'em though....just getting bored of waiting, i guess which is a horrid thing to admit

what i've been finding is the music that i used to listen to before i founded green day, i'm starting to get back into the swing of. no, i love listening to green day, but sometimes, when i listen to their music i don't get the same feeling as i used to, so i stop for a while so then later i can get the same tingly feeling again. i still love learning all about them and their style and what they say and do. hell, if i could even learn what their favorite foods where i would. no, i still love them. barely anybody at my school is interested in them, even the girls who went to the concert (the lucky bitches) don't even show any remote signs of likeing them, and that proves i don't like them because they are 'popular'. so, i still love green day, but it's good to listen to other things once and a while. so, no, i'm still interested in them.

Yea same with me im starting with gradful dead and nirvana and guns n roses and no one in my school likes them they think they suck and moved on with linkin park and hip-hop and rap and only one person i know

I'm still interested in them I just don't really listen to them that often anymore. There's only so many times you can listen to the same thing over and over again. I'm still a fan though. It's good to listen to and explore other artist and genres, which is what I'm doing. Maturing musically.

I haven't lost intrest but i'm happy that they are not playing their music all over the place now. It was kind of annoying for a while. All of the local bands covering their songs and radio stations over playing them made me sick of it.

I listen to Green Day nearly all the time. I think the only reason I might be getting a bit sick of it is because I need some new CDs

Ditto. But I've used this time to learn about other great bands. I even have those teenage moments when I hear news from them. Still can't help it I guess.
