Losing Interest In Green Day ?

Honestly, no. I still listen to them usually about once a day, even if it is just a song or two.

I am ready for some new stuff though, new news, a new album, tour.

I am anxious to see what they will do with their next album.

I can't see me ever getting tired of them...

but they are still MY LIFE

and i guess they will always be

and i don't want that to change

i listen to them every single day

and i'm just full of excitement because of their new album

hopefully it comes out next year

i've been saving money for 2 years now to buy the best damn seats when they come to my city

and i told ppl that told me that green day was just a stage

that 10 years from now and so on i will still be listening to them

i mean no one likes them at my school other than me

I wouldn't say I've lost interest. Green Day is definitely still a big part of my life. However, like most people on here, I am in desperate need of new material. Most of their old stuff is getting, well, old. I know that when the new CD comes out, I'll be pretty obsessed again for a while. Then it'll die back down again.

But, Green Day will always have a special place in my heart. Without them, my life would be completely different, that's for sure. They helped me discover so many new things.

i spoze its because im in a band and i understand how hard it is to write new material that is going to be better than your older suff or whatever.

either way i listen to them every day without fail, not because i fell like i should, but because their music is just the best and i always find a little something new in every song that gets me excited and inspires me.

recently I've been obsessing with OK Go. before that it was .. Breaking Benjamin. I think.

I'm the same, Leigh. Although I'm not in a band I listen to Green Day each and every day without fail. I don't ever get tired of them because there are enough albums to keep the rotation fresh and interesting.

they opened me to new music . . and now ive discovered that that music leads to more music . . and now im in a tottally different area then green day on the musical spectrum . . . i'll listen to insomniac and anything before that like . .. maybe once every few months . . . . but im listening to soo many other bands that i like a lot more that times have changed. its like having sex with a girl. you still think she's attractive a little bit . . . but you dont want to full on have sex with her anymore . . since you realized there are so many others that you could and are having sex with.

I listen to literally everything, from opera to zydeco, and Green Day, for as long as I can remember, has been my favorite band. I've had the opportunity to change that numerous times, but I never did, so I decided, hell, if it isn't broken, why fix it?

Nobody can listen to just one band all the time so it's natural to listen to other things especially in my case, but Green Day's always going to be my favorite band.
