Jillie Boe. Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 yeah... it's the same with me... I'll never forget what they've done....They've saved my life when I wanted to suicide And I don't think the black parade sounds similar to green day... It's totally different Yeah people keep saying that they sound a like, but they just don't Wow... Almost everyone lost interest only because of MCR. I think it happens cause we are getting depressed and gd decided to take a break... We just can't wait for them to come back...((Yeah, true...I guess, though i don't have any high expectations of the new album though. Hopefully i'll be proven wrong.
link01n Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I don`t think, that GD changed my life or saved me... I think they just made me see thing by another way, if I can say so. Every their song is some kind of a message for me, which I try to read and get. That`s it...
wtsrname Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Only thing I'm losing interest in is geography :bored:
W4T31R4U Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 i haven't lost interest in Green Day just gained interest in other bands as well, such as My Chemical Romance, Breaking Benjamin, and Eighteen Vision
Warning2002 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I still love um, but havent listened to them since AI. I just need a new CD and ill be hooked for awhile. Also, i'm developing musically, and becoming more interested in the more technical confusing stuff (note my sig)
HoneyDo666 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I'm definately not losing interest. Their still hot because some magazine always has something on them in it. Usually a teen magazine, which are actually fun to read. Plus all the charity stuff and campaigns, and potentially Live Earth coming up! Nah... their not boring and I can't stop listening to the GD music and interviews. Love them, I'll never get bored.
The-Enemy Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Losing Interest? in my bf yupp haha Would I ever lose interest in Green Day? FUCK NO!!!
agirlcalledkill Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 yea...definitely still not in that same stage. they're not doing much, and you just lose interest.
Barley Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Green Day will forever be the band that got me interested in music. I'll always have a special place in my heart for them
xXx.:Jinx:.xXx Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I have lost interest in them to be honest, but its because I heard soooo much of them, and I have so many of their products, I just got a tired of it all.I think after they get a decent song out my intrest will spike right back up! =]
mr.cooliodefabio1237 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 iv never had this green day is my life phase.....iv been in a music-is-my-life phase for years now though
hardtoconcentrate Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 No fucking way. I have yet to lose interest. I'm a serious Green Day fan, and I'll be there til the end.Exactly I don't think anyone has the right to call themselves a big Green Day fan if they have lost interest in them. If you are a proper fan you love them no matter what...you don't suddenly become bored just because they're on a well deserved break. To be honest...I think a lot of the people here who are saying they have lost interest only started liking Green Day in the midst of the American Idiot hype...they started to like whatever band was 'in' and 'cool' at the time. I'm not saying everyone is like that but thats my opinion....
harp baby Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I'm kind of losing interest, I need some new stuff to listen to lol.I've changed alot over the past few months and I don't think I'll ever get into them as much as I was, but they've had a huge impact on my life, and who I am today, and no matter what, they'll always be there
Compulsive Habits Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I haven't lost interest in Green Day at all but all my teenie friends who fell in love with AI have suddenly lost interest. How shocking is that?Their back to listening to their Britney Spears albums... fine by me.
Gail. Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I'm kind of losing interest, I need some new stuff to listen to lol.I've changed alot over the past few months and I don't think I'll ever get into them as much as I was, but they've had a huge impact on my life, and who I am today, and no matter what, they'll always be there Well you summed that up for me.What you have said is what I would have said.
xthe Grouchx Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 The other day I put in one of their CD's and I remembered how important they are to me. Their music still makes me feel the same way it did when I first heard it.Sure, I don't spend every hour of the day watching their videos anymore, but I'm still as big of a fan as I've ever been. I dunno. I don't think I've lost interest in them.Exactly I don't think anyone has the right to call themselves a big Green Day fan if they have lost interest in them. Just because someone doesn't listen to a band as much as they used to doesn't make them any less of a fan at all. Nor does it make them someone who had followed the current trend at the time.

Light My Fire Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I just listened to them before. Wasn't a very good experience.TBH don't know what I saw in them. Nah they're good live. I like Homecoming though. My Nimrod Cd doesn't go anymore but I liked that, so yeah I have lost "interest" in them
*Minority* Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 A few weeks ago, in the gda, was posted a question about the interest in Green Day.I was admired when I looked to the results and a lot of people answered:"YES".So my point is:Why are people losing their interest in Green Day? I'm not losing my interest on Green Day at all!!! What about you?
TotalBasketCase13 Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Lately, I haven't listened to them hardly at all. Does that mean I've lost interest? HELL NO! I've just been going to more concerts and listening to other bands I love too. It's kinda good to go a few weeks without listening to them, because once you finally do, the music seems really fresh and just brings all these good feelings back. Certain other bands have been taking up more of my time recently, but Green Day is and always will be first and foremost to me. No band can replace what I feel for them.4 months later, and this comment still stands
Nedra Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Slightly, only because its so long in the making of thier next album. I still love them, I'm just listening to more different bands and waiting for them to hurry up and release.
MusicalDeviant Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I'm not losing interest in them or anything, but I haven't been listening to them much lately.I've discovered so many new bands recently, that Green Day has taken a back-seat. For the time being.yeah, I feel this way as well. The new album can't come soon enough.
Billie'sgirl Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 nope never just that some and then i hear other bandsthate i allso like
CarnageXB Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 yeah just because they havent been in the game for a while but when there new album releases im sure ill be back
