I don`t think, that GD changed my life or saved me... I think they just made me see thing by another way, if I can say so. Every their song is some kind of a message for me, which I try to read and get. That`s it...

I'm definately not losing interest. Their still hot because some magazine always has something on them in it. Usually a teen magazine, which are actually fun to read. Plus all the charity stuff and campaigns, and potentially Live Earth coming up! Nah... their not boring and I can't stop listening to the GD music and interviews. Love them, I'll never get bored.

I have lost interest in them to be honest, but its because I heard soooo much of them, and I have so many of their products, I just got a tired of it all.

Exactly I don't think anyone has the right to call themselves a big Green Day fan if they have lost interest in them. If you are a proper fan you love them no matter what...you don't suddenly become bored just because they're on a well deserved break.

To be honest...I think a lot of the people here who are saying they have lost interest only started liking Green Day in the midst of the American Idiot hype...they started to like whatever band was 'in' and 'cool' at the time.

I'm not saying everyone is like that but thats my opinion....

Lately, I haven't listened to them hardly at all. Does that mean I've lost interest? HELL NO! I've just been going to more concerts and listening to other bands I love too. It's kinda good to go a few weeks without listening to them, because once you finally do, the music seems really fresh and just brings all these good feelings back.

Certain other bands have been taking up more of my time recently, but Green Day is and always will be first and foremost to me. No band can replace what I feel for them.
