celeryeater Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i dont get itHe's been going around saying "jaja" and other pointless shite for a while now.
Angel Andres Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i'm losing interest in my friends because i'm only in the coomputer :whistling:
Punk Butterfly Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 hmmm... i really dunno. the last months i ve lost my interest a little but not compeletely...but i dont think i must analyze it so much. just listen to the music i like, be exchited with bands, then discover new bands, let the previous for a while, and then returnt o them again, and let it happening....
A Girl Called Kill x3 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i think i am actually starting to lose interest. if i have my iPod on shuffle, and Green Day comes on, i usually switch to a song by a different band. i think i've heard each Green Day song so many times that i just get sick of hearing it over and over again. i still love Green Day though.
Jose Luis Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i'm losing interest in my friends because i'm only in the coomputer :whistling:uhm... this thread is about lising interest in GREEN DAY
The Daughter of Rage and Love Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 No because i still have to listen to Kerplunk and 1,039/SMOSH
Ultimo3000 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 No, I don't think I will ever lose interest. But I want them to release a new CD now!!!
Ultimo3000 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 uhm... this thread is about having sex with GREEN DAY. What the hell?! Naw, just kidding Jose Luis. I thought I would just try messing around with a quote to make it seem like someone said something they didn't.
GD.Fan Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 if ever i lose interest.. its because i listened to it too much
spark in the night Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 nahim here to stayGD fan fo' life
suicidexmakeover Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i don't think it's possible to loose interest in something that saved your life.
Shadowiegirl Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 For me, I think its totally ok to listen to other music, I do myself, but I also think that in a fallow cyclic period, certain fans will fall by the wayside, but thats ok, it sorts the wheat from the chaff, and the wheat will remain loyal to this site till the next album comes out, however difficult that may be, because they know its worth it, (yes that does sound like an L'Oreal ad). I am looking forward to see who is still here in 6 months time.
DeathOrGlory Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i'm past the whole obsessive fan stage, but i still like them. every once in a while i'll feel like listening to one of their first few albums at least. i'll definitely download the next album, and probably buy it as long as it's not an AI Part 2 deal. but seriously, most of the people saying green day will be their favorite band forever have probably only liked them for a couple of years.
suicidexmakeover Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 but seriously, most of the people saying green day will be their favorite band forever have probably only liked them for a couple of years.guhh i hate it when people say that. :/ I only got into them when american idiot came out because i wasn't into music before that. i know they will be my favourite band forever, because they have saved my life and you know, they're my fucking heroes and i love evry single piece of music they have made. i hate the fact that i can't be a dedicated big fan, that insists on being that for as long as i live, because i have only been into music and then for about 2 years.
green.day.sarah Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I listen to Green Day nearly all the time. I think the only reason I might be getting a bit sick of it is because I need some new CDsyeah, me too
TheMinority Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i think i am actually starting to lose interest. if i have my iPod on shuffle, and Green Day comes on, i usually switch to a song by a different band. i think i've heard each Green Day song so many times that i just get sick of hearing it over and over again. i still love Green Day though.Me too but I guess you need to get away from it for a whileRight now I'm listening to Christie Road.. It comes and goes.
spark in the night Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I know that I will never lose interest because I can never get bored with themI listen to them, for the most part, constantlyits all I think about and im around any piece of GD-ness 24 hours a dayand it still doesnt feel oldso I know that no matter what, they will always be special to me and always exciting and newbecause thats just how GD is

I didn't really get into them properly until AI and i haven't lost interest, because i found out what a great band they were and what a great back catalouge they had. I probably listen to at least one song or parts of one album by them a day, but i listen to other stuff too; that doesn't mean i'm losing interest in Green Day. I'm excited to see what they can come up with next, what the next album will be like. Some people are only really losing interest because they can't be bothered to wait. Either that or they were never really much into them to begin with.
Jose Luis Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 What the hell?! Naw, just kidding Jose Luis. I thought I would just try messing around with a quote to make it seem like someone said something they didn't.haha i saw it and i was like "wtf did i write that?"

Rebel Girl1989 Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I was always the only person I knew who listened to Green day for a while. My friend decided it would be cool to copy me and just act as if she had discovered them and I was the one who copies her. I kinda started to lose intrest when it wasn't fun to be different anymore. Don't get me wrong I still love Green Day and listen to their music, I just feel like every day that I like them is a competition therefore I have kinda lost a small amount of intrest in them as people, not their music.
paper_lanterns_005 Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 i am finding myself getting sick of all their songs... and it really sucks. i remember that "greendayismylife" phase everyone's talking about. it was fun to b obsessed. and now that green day ISN'T my life anymore, its kinda sad. like i lost a part of myself or something. pretty lame, eh?? :bored: but of course green day's still my favorite band. and once their new album comes out i'll probobly b obsessed all over again. well, at least, i hope so. cause if not there's gonna b ALOT of stuff to get rid of... 23 posters...a calander...a blanket...a scrapbook...3 cassette tapes...curtains...and 11 CDS...damn if i stop liking green day my room's gonna b EMPTY!!

stjimmysgirl221 Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 yeah im not losing interest... i like their music to much
Lotus Eater Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Funny how when you like a band for the right reasons in the first place, it's unusual to ever completely lose interest.
