to my own beat Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 i sort of lose some intrest when we dont hear anything from them, but i bet right when they come out with their new album, ill be right back to obsessive. but at the moment, ive been listening to them every chance i get, so things between me and green day are going great
Khaleesi. Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I dont think I'm losing interest in them, but I'm listening to a lot more different bands at the moment, cause they need to come out with something new. I still love them, and I always will though!
...staples? Watoosh Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 i've lost interest in that i dont listen to them all the time and they aren't my very favorite band or anything anymore, but i still like them.
TotalBasketCase13 Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I haven't lost interest in them yet, and I hope I never will. Lately it seems I've been getting even more obsessed, just with them being back in the studio and performing live pretty soon. Plus, anticipating the new album.
samdarko Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I am definitly not losing interest, and I know I won't for a long time. It doesn't mean I only listen to them or anything, but they are of course still my favorite band. I know they will be for a very long time if not forever. But I can't see that far into the future.
Haushinka.. Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Im still as big of a fan as I have been for years. I dont really think that I have ever lost intrest.
mayday01 Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I'm not losing interest in them or anything, but I haven't been listening to them much lately.I've discovered so many new bands recently, that Green Day has taken a back-seat. For the time being.same.
kinda0punk Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I'm not losing interest in them or anything, but I haven't been listening to them much lately.I've discovered so many new bands recently, that Green Day has taken a back-seat. For the time being.ditto. i think the only reason I am listening to them less/losing interest is because I have found so much more new stuff to listen to.
bat-chen Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I'm listening to other bands know... I'm in a little break from there music , but I'm still a big fan of Green Day and I still have interst on them.If I would lost intrest, I wouldn't come here...
RegularDecoratedEmergency Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I haven't lost interest, but I haven't listened to much of them at all lately. I've been listening to a bunch of other bands that I've been really into lately.Everytime I go through my iPod, I always skip Green Day and I skip their songs on shuffle mode. I don't know why. I guess I got a little sick of it but I know I'll get back in the mood at some point.
She-Loves-Him Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 It's not so much that I'm losing interest... more like nothing new is really happening so I'm not paying as close attention as I used to. I'm not listening to them as much, mainly because nothing new has come out and I've listened to the other stuff so much. But when I do decide to listen to Dookie or something, it makes me happy inside.
woahinez Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I will never lose interest in them no matter what happens. But I do listen other bands and I'm trying to discover new bands to like.Green Day will always be in mind and in my heart.
Extraordinary_Girl Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Well I haven't listened to any of their songs in a while now, which is completely opposite to what it used to be, when I listened to, at least, a song a day. However, it doesn't have anything to do with the American Idiot boom or anything, I think I've just gone for different bands and put them aside a little, but I still like them and I'll always keep a space for them, no matter how small.
Sherri Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I've never wanted to join the group of Green Day fans that lost interest or got bored of their music, but I've definitely grown bored. I get super hyped when there's anything new in the Green Day world as it doesn't happen often anymore, so I definitely still have that passion for them and their music. I've gotten into a few other bands as they work on the new record, and they definitely satsify my need to learn new music and new bands. I wouldn't say I've lost interest, I just think it's hard to wait for years for a new album and sometimes listening to their old stuff just doesn't cut it.
jesusofsuburbia90 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I listen to Green Day nearly all the time. I think the only reason I might be getting a bit sick of it is because I need some new CDsyeah me too. I'm just waiting for their new CD to come out. I've listened to all of American Idiot about a billion zillion times and I'm still not bored of it.I will never lose interest in them no matter what happens. But I do listen other bands and I'm trying to discover new bands to like.Green Day will always be in mind and in my heart.I agree completely.
Milan. Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 im not losing my intrest its just that im sick of their songs at the moment, there more on the back burner for me at the moment
Guest 16PaperLanterns Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 i'm getting into other bands now, but that doesnt mean i'm losing interest in green day. there will always be something about their music that has a strong connection with me.
Twist Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 no i don't think i am. i go through a month where i don't listen to them at all, but then go back to them and listen obsessively. last year they were all i listened to, now i'm kind of giving them a rest. i haven't listened to them in a few months or so but i still call them my favorite band and stuff. i don't think i'll ever lose intrest, or i hope not
InternationalSuperhits! Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Lately, I haven't been listening to much Green Day and if I have, it's their older stuff. Right now, I'm just getting into other bands that I've never listened to before. I'm pretty sure I'll go back to listening to Green Day more, but I won't be as "obsessed" with them as before. I just want a wider variety of music to listen to. But lately I've been preferring that punk/grungy sound and the earlier albums have that more than the later ones, so I'm favoring them at the moment. I can't say for sure if I'll ever lose interest in Green Day, but for now they're still one of my top 5 bands.
