The only way people find out is if they ask me what my favorite band is, and usually I get very posititve responses like "Oh cool, I like Green Day too." They're a very popular band at my school and I usually see about five different people walking around with a Green Day shirt on every day.The only person that bags on me for liking them is my little brother...and he's just being an ass.

He isn't too impressed w/AI but he still likes to listen to everything before that. Since most of my friends are over the age of 21 nobody really gives me shit for liking Green Day, they know its a part of my life and they respect that. Being an adult has its advantages. He does like to tease me about Billie though. It works both ways, I tease him about Drew Barrymore, his lustful object of affection.Like people have said earlier, fuck everyone else where your favorite singer/bands shirts w/pride.

There are plenty of people who tell me GD sucks, and I could care less. It's the one crazy in the bunch who follows me around that pisses me off, because it's not like I engage them or fight with them or let them think that they can upset me for fun, yet they won't get a life.

Today, for instance, my friend and I were putting eyeliner on this guy because he needed a haircut and she said he would look really emo in eyeliner. So we tried it. And everyone started telling me that I was just trying to make him look like Billie Joe. *twitch* I told them they were just jealous that we made Erik sexy and they were still ugly...

But they do tell me that i am obsessed with them and they get annoyed every time i talk about them. i dont really care though. people at my school do make fun of emos, but GD isnt even really considered emo.

Let me see it!" she doesn't bag on me, but it sure does irk me a little bit
