theres this one girl that always kinda laughs when I wear a GD shirt. She's not necessarily making fun of me, but just laughing as if im a joke.

I just tell her to shut the fuck up and then I move on with my life. I am proud to be a Green Day fan and I wear it proudly. I just ignore all that shit cuz there only saying that to make them feel superior. funny thing is, its make them look more like a jackass

I do occasionally get crap for liking Green Day, but I just ignore it because I really don't care. You just don't let it get to you, they can tell you about how much they hate Green Day but in the end.. it doesn't matter what the hell they think.

Of course people always say stuff like that to me and my other friends. But what do I care? All I know is that I love Green Day and forever will that be! Green Day made me realize something...to always be yourself and don't care about what others think about you (and I won't disappoint them!).

Yeah, so what if some of the people I know care about what others think of them? Why should I follow what everyone else is doing? Why should I even believe in their fucked up doings? Which I don't.

Sometimes it's easier said than done, but you shouldn't care about what others say about you, or what you do/believe. Let people think what they want to think, let them believe in false rumors, let them be idiots. As long as you know the truth, don't listen to their lies.

Whenever I'm listening or wearing one of my green day t-shirts people in my class are always like "Green Day sucks." and "Green Day is gay" and stuff like that. It really pisses me off cuz most of them have probably never even heard a green day song in their life. And when i'm with my friends i usually always talk about green day and they're always like "OMG ur obssed with green day. I get a lot of shit because I like green day. It bothered me at first, but then I just stopped caring. I"ll go to school wearing a green day shirt, and pins and my messenger bag and shoelaces and the whole green day outfit. Its my way of saying "I know you hate me for liking them, but fuck you, I don't care" After a while though, people start to get used to it, and realize no matter how much shit they talk about me and green day, I'm not going to change.
