Whenever I wear a Green Day shirt, especially at school, people always snicker and whatever. I don't get why. They're just a band that I happen to be in love with. I don't laugh at you for wearing a mother fucking Nelly Furtado shirt, do I? Plus, when people find out I like Green Day, they automatically call me a poser. It's strange I've been listening to punk rock for the last tree years, and no one ever said anything!

The first Green Day cd I bought was AI, but I only recently became a BIG fan when I head Dookie and Nimrod, and that was about 5 months ago!

And now all my friends make stupid jokes about the fact that I like Green Day, and that I'm such a wannabe punk! I just think it's demented, I don't make fun of them for liking hip hop and metal!

And I was so surprised by the reaction of my one of my best friends when I told her Green Day are my favorite band... she was like: "I really hope you aren't going to become a punk or an emo..."

And I'm like: "What if I already am? Are you going to stop being my friend?".

People can be so stupid! I was always a bit of a loner so I'm used being called stuff! But it doesn't bother me, it never did!

And if someone makes fun of you because you like Green Day, well be happy about it! They are the losers who don't have anything better to do!
