jesusofthecity Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 i don't know what kind of music i'll be in to later in life, tastes change. if punk rock remains my favorite music genre, i'll definitely stick to green day for all my life. but i guess i'll love green day forever anyway, they taught me so much and inspired me in every way they can. it's like goth punk already said: once you're a green day fan, you're always a green day fan... lol, imagine you listening to green day when you're 80.thx..i really intent to drive me nephew/niece crazy..lol..

They will always be special to me, and I'll care about what happens to Billie, Tre and Mike, more that any other band. I want them to do well, and be happy, which is weird to say I've never met the guys.

I will also always like them cos it's the first band from which I bought all the old albums, the dvds and even books (with many letters in it!) and I never get tired of listening to their albums all day long! That's why I will always like them,maybe in the future I will not love them as much as I do now,but I will still like them a lot!...I take the last thing back! actually I will love them forever and ever !!!

suicidexmakeover Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 People may beg to differ with me until they are blue in the face but I know i will always love green day with the same passion as i do now. They are the biggest part of my life and have changed me and the way I think/am for the better. Indirectly thye have saved my life and even though I will probably never get the chance to tell them and thank them i shall be forever greatful. I never get tired of their music and even when they do cease to make music I shall aleays listen to them and remember how they inspired to make something of myself instead of being a lazy tennager who sat on her arse all day long. When i get the money I'm getting a gd related tattoo. I'm not a rash person and believe me I've thought this through ALOT and to be honest I wouldn't just do that if it really meant something to me. I came to the conclusion that green day's music has had such a big effect on me that I owe them to have a permanent mark on me to show people that if it wasn't for them I woudldn't still be here. So to answer you question, yes, I will always love green day.

I'll remember the way they influenced my life and always love the way I was in love with them. haha that was confusing but hopefully some people understand what I mean. .....but they may always be my favorite band. I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS! :ph34r:
