when I think of Green Day its like I dont think, Im in my own place apart from my reality, and when it does it brings me back to myself altoghether. Billie joe is my God, my muse, inspiration for my life. His music, his words perfectly sewn within me forever, you can change, I can change, but what will never fade is past emotions, the little things that can destroy or create one altoether, played in a simple tune, a whimsicall song. That meer mortal gives his soul, he puts hios heart on his sleeve meanwhile helping us to grasp our own reality, to see past closed doors. To take that away would be like taking the air I breathe taking away what makes me coomplete after Ive been torn away to pieces, everyday. A love like that will last forever, Its like a for better or worse, Inner agreement with Green Day, nothing will separate

i think about that too sometimes.

i used to be obsessed with Good Charlotte not so long ago. I couldn't imagine myself ever loosing my love for them but i did. I still enjoy their music but i just don't like the band that much.

I feel right now like i'll never stop loving Green Day, that it couldn't be just a phase when i can't even discribe to anybody how much i love them. I think its always going to be painful and a little bit scary when you loose somthing you love but people change and grow up. i just hope that this feeling lasts a long time...as close to forever as youy can get...

I have a problem of not listening to new bands. Green Day has been my favorite band since that fated day in '94 when I bought Dookie, after seeing Longview on MTV. 90% of my cd collections is Led Zep, Rush, The Who, Queen, STP, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Beastie Boys, etc. So unless they go on a murderous rampage killing babies and small animals, they will probably always be my favorite band. Oh, or if they start playing a new genre like polka or country, that might do it. :huh:

I have a problem of not listening to new bands.

thats definately NOT a problem. all these scene bands that are coming out are shit.

I hate how you cant even understand a word they're saying its like

personally I really like nineties punk... seventies punk is pretty amazing and basically anything that comes on to a classic rock station. you know. real music.

music owns my life and I love it :wub:

no. i will love green day forever. i might have found new bands, but they will stay deep in my heart. when i'm an old grandma and my grandkids ask me what music i listened to i will be able to say "kids, i listened to Blue Day----wait, no, Red Day----wait, that's not it. Dammit!" and my grandkids will be like :o "grandma swore!"

i knew that would make at least ONE person laugh. my grandma tried to convince me that Cher was rock and roll, so i'm going to try my hardest to remember green day :rolleyes:

fuck yes! i will always love green day! i mean its like i married to them n cant get a divorce sides I'm the only one of my friends who loves green day (besdies my best friend) all my friends like the misfits sex pistols and wat not n im an individual! :D

i can't be sure that i'll love anything forever. But i've loved green day since i was 8 or 9, and i've never once gotten sick of any of their songs (unlike other bands), so i'm pretty sure i'll still like them for a while. i know i'll always love their songs though, since i've always had strong connections to the feelings in them.

i think i will like green day in the future. i dont think ill like the all american rejects or fall out boy or my chemical romance because i think theyre for teenagers but my cousin is like 42 and he has the american idiot album. i think green day is for all age groups.

but before i listened to Green Day, i never really liked music that much. i usually listened to the popular radio stations (like rap/ hip hop/ pop) and i didn't like it much at all. but its what all of my friends listen to... so i just went along with it. but now that i listen to Green Day, i listen to rock music and i love it! i can't imagine Green Day not being my favorite band, and i think they always will be.

The only thing that could diminish my love for Green Day would be if they suddenly had a change of heart and decided they support George Bush,lol.........but i'd still love them a little.... :ph34r:

im not sure if this is going to fit in with everyones converstaions on here, but...

i moved away from my old school last year, where i known simply as the go-to-kid for anything green day....not that im not still lol....but i was visiting one of my friends and he asked me "How would you feel about yourslef if you ever....stopped likeing green day?" i had to sit and think for a minute...and told him, I dont think i would ever "not be a green day fan" becuase they are my idols, my gods, and my inspiration for life...(even though those are pretty much the same) ...and some bands, like My Chemical Romance, or Fall out Boy, will grow out evenutally , even if we dont want them too...but Green Day is like the Ramones, they're always gona be around, they're legends.....and everyone listens to them. even my dad, whos over 50 loves Green Day. and my younger brother, whos 9, also loves them, and knows almost all thier songs.

and green day will always be on my mind lol.

its really hard to think about that at least for me.

ok heres what i say lol

last year i had this kind of obsession with simple plan, but like a huge one, i always listened to their cds, played their songs on my guitar, just knew everything about them.then after a while i got so sick of them, i mean of everything their faces thier songs like everything. so now with green day im starting to do the same thing and im just trying to i dunno like control myself lol cuz now green day's like everything to me (well not everything) well they're really important to me like idols n'stuff. so im just trying to get everything in order with my thoughts and just for the record im NOT comparing green day to sp, it was just somethin i went through and just wanted to share it ok

i hope i dont stop liking green day.. :blink:
