I think i'll love green day 4eva cos they've been my favourite band since i was in year 3 and now im in year 8 nearly year 9 and their works improving and i seem to become more obsessed with them every day also i used to like bands in phases but green day have stuck with me so long they've become a part of me I HAVE NO GOOD REASON NOT 2 LIKE EM'.LOL.

Like i said the first vinyl that i bought was The Wall, Pink Floyd, in 1979 ...well, i listend "Confortably Numb" for the first time....it touched me a lot, i was 12/13 years...my parents didn't like the songs, thought too much weird, but my mother was like hippie and she accept, thought that was fuuny, hehe...and i listen this music untill today ..the first this music touched me...but now, this music remember me a lot of moments of my life, because i listend in good and bad moments...its kind a soundtrack of my life...

ya im worried about it :/ . a lot of my friends became obsessed with green day and moved on after a few months and im just worried ill get sick of them like my friends did. and i know this sounds cheesy, but they give me so much that i honestly really dont know what i would do without their music. ive never enjoyed or related to something so much in my life and im just worried that'll fade away. sometimes i make myself listen to other bands to i put off me getting sick of them. but im trying not to think about it, if i move on to another and... i might as well enjoy it while it lasts. and my mom saying its just a phase doesnt help much either. but at least i know itll take me a while to get sick of them... itll take me a while to get sick of so many cds.

Don't worry about...maybe you will get sick, yeah, and go to other songs and discovery new things...and then when you listen green day again it will sound new or different for you...its happen...you are young and you need discovery new songs ...like new songs will not make you forget or don't like green day anymore

I think I will like Green Day forever because they are the first band which U have bought all of there albums and bought some of there mechanise and large posters around my room. Last year when i first really got into Green Day, my mum and dad said it was just a fase and it would only last a couple of weeks but I have already proven that wrong bout I have now liked Green day for a year.

yea i deffinately get what you're saying. i feel the same way. but i think green day will always be either one of my favorites or a band that i still really like. my bro used to love blink 182 now he hates them cuz he changed & got older. now he's always saying stuff like "ah they suck i hate them" i'll never ever say that about a band that used to be my favorite. they might not always be my number one favorite but i'll always listen to them a lot. they've just been one of those bands that have always been around for me. i'll probably always like green day
