FOD Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 i went all the way to the giants base ball statium... a total of 25 minutes walking distance... not too impressive.
ShutTheFuckUp! Posted April 17, 2006 Author Posted April 17, 2006 This is kind of frustrating. Some of you people get to go to a Green Day concert so easily!I have to fly for a few hours to a different country with a different language just to see them....Damn.

TheMinority Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Nothing big. It may sound big that I traveled almost across the country just to get to the ventue but I thing the journey took about 3,5 hours or something like that.. Nothing in particular that a person with standing tickets isn't going through already.. waiting for lotz and lotz of hours and getting almost strangled, that was kinda scary though... but every second was worth it, just to stand close to the stage.
Guest Quietus Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I bugged the shit out of my dad for weeks and paid a shitload of money.

fashionvictim86 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Well...to meet them I drove 5 hours to Rochester, NY (without even having concert tickets, mind you...they gave them to us). Then I drove to Pittsburgh PA (8 hours) to see them in concert. Then I flew to CA (which is of course, across the country) to see them at the recording academy honor thing.
stablesoulsgonebad Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I spent about two hours in a car. But it was with cool people, so i cant complain. I pretty much gave up Aim interrminably, but i can live without that. I GOT TO SEE GREEN DAY!!

Amanda Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I think you've bumped enough old threads to be getting on with, thank you.
Annie, get your gun Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Not much, actually. I never asked for permission to mom and dad to buy the tickets. I missed a week of school, my sister a week of work. We travel like 16 hours, and then the wait til see them was a living hell. Nothing compared to other things I would do just to see them.
Satan Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 insane thread thread bumping right there anyways, i got a job to see them. I blew all the money i made so i could see them. i also had to buy my freinds' ticket nothing too insane. and i'd do it all over again in a heartbeat
gdpony Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Got a job. Practically begged for money. And traveled all thr way to Costa Rica. I spoke with my dad to get his permission after 6 years of not speaking. Worth every penny and sacrifice!
Whatsername1533 Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Sat outside in the desert for 10 hours in May, it was probably 100 degrees out, then proceeded to sit inside the venue for 2 more hours.
