*Megan* Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 MK Bowl, that was brilliant.Buying Dookie (During the Nimrod era) and realising that Green Day sung Basket Case. And, watching BIAB for the first time with my McFly obsessed friend. She's never looked back, her room is completley Green now. It was great, we had so much fun watching it together.
Totally obsessed Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I don't really have one specific cherished memory to do with Green Day - but I'll always remember them as the band that changed my life
TnT--I-Heart-You Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Oh God...theres more then just one..... <3<3
She-Loves-Him Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I don't really have one specific cherished memory to do with Green Day - but I'll always remember them as the band that changed my life moi aussi.though i know any moment will NOT be the one where i refused to go to the concert in toronto.... :/
billieluver1 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 My Most Memorable Green DAy Moment was when i was watching this crappy rap video then the next video was GREEN DAY.........Wake Me Up When September Ends......and i rememeber almost crying...hahaa
Hybrid Meteora Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 ^your sig is way to tall.Buying my 1st green day album
XbernieX Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 ^your sig is way to tall.Yes it's definitely too tall. Take another pic,a smaller one
nak321 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Best: When I watched BIAB for the first time with my (ex) best friend. We had so much fun, eating popcorn snd drinking caffinated soda and becoming super hyper. While singing along and hey-o ing of course.Worst: When my mom wouldnt let me go to the concert, and then the day after she found out that her friend from work went and had an extra ticket that she had to give away! But my mom (and her friend) felt really bad so now my mom promised me I could go to a Green Day concert the next time they're in Philly.
The Daughter of Rage and Love Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Watching Bullet In The Bible....it's the closest I will probably ever get to a Green Day concert....fuck!Age limits are fucking retarded! fucking over protective parents"You're too young blahblahblah!!" "Wait until you're 18!!" ^^parental quotes
dryice923 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 when i 1st saw the AI video. the WORST memeory i have involving green day, however, was when i found out they had played at SBC park the day after my birthday i read the friggin review in the times the day after and it still didnt dawn on me
XbernieX Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 My best GD memory is when I watched BIAB for the first time,it was just awesome. My worst GD memory is when my parents asked my if I would like to go to the Nova Rock Festival and I said no and the next day I found out that GD played there!!!!
farley drexel hatcher Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Probably when i first got one of their cds. it was when AI had just came out, and i loved the song, but didn't get that album. Instead i got International Superhits, and the first song i fell in love with was Minority. Then i think the next was probably when i bought the BOBD single, and the effect 'Letterbomb' had on me (it was a live version of the song and i hadn't heard it until then, because i still didn't have the album yet, and it's still one of my favourites.) And then watching Bullet in a Bible last Christmas.
green_day_girl_1039 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 mine was when i saw tre climb the universal ball
Guest 16PaperLanterns Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 hm. well, it's a tie. 1. When I listened International Superhits for the first time. i was blown away. then playing it non-stop on repeat for the rest of the week.2. When I was on an exchange in Italy, and the girl i was staying with was ignoring me, and the entire week was brain-stew-y. i was watching some weird UK pop video, when on comes AMERICAN IDIOT UNCENSORED!!!that made me so happy.
_GREENDAY_ Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I think it would have been when i saw them in concert on the 17th of December 05. It was when Billie was singing good riddance without playing guitar and every single person there was singing back at him. That sends shivers down my spine.
iluvgdlikecrazy Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 i have two. one one day and the other the next day.the first one was their concert. it was the greatest night of my life and it made me feel a whole lot better after all the stress from the hurricane that hit 2 days ago.the second was when i was watching the vma's. this asshole kid was being an asshole saying green day was retarded and bla bla bla. and when they won 7 awards i laughed in his face mine was when i saw tre climb the universal ballaw i wish i saw that!!! :/
gothicjello Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 When I was at the okc concert and I sat next to Billie Joe's Mom
iluvgdlikecrazy Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 When I was at the okc concert and I sat next to Billie Joe's Momplease tell me your lying
Christie Roadx3 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 please tell me your lying wowbut my most "cherished" green day moment was when i heard good riddance probably..yea i'm not sure
arian Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Either 10.16.05 My Green Day concert.. or the first time I heard American Idiot. I was playing pacman in my dad's house and listening to the CD over and over again.
walkingalone_x3 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Mine is probably when my best friend brought over her ISH CD and we put it on in the living room and started dancing. I was just amazed by the songs and everything about it. That got me into looking for all their old CD's. I've loved Green Day ever since then.
Jimmy's wife Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 bumping into Billie Joe in Oakland, California, on our last holiday. i literally, nearly knocked him over!
