If i wanted to freak out meeting them it would be at a concert. but if I saw them on the street i wouldn't be crazy or anything i would be like "hello you guys are awesome goodbye" and then go crazy when i get home or something and then brag to everyone that i somewhat met them- even though everyone i know doesn't like them...I'd still do it

I think it's ridiculous the lengths people will go to actually make those fake profiles.

They are only human and they all have their own private lives. Although they have to expect this kind of thing to happen as they get more and more in the publics eye.

I'm glad to know that their families are not put out there to the extreme of certain celebrities.

YEs i think they really right to own privacy like anybody else

i cannot tell a lie, (actually, i can lie pretty well, but) i would FREAK OUT if i saw them on the street. now, i would try not to make a huge scene about it, but i would go SO girlie on them. "OMG i luff you guys, holy crap!!" and id probably ask for a picture. not a sig though. those things are worthless to me. (from anyone)

honestly if i was a celeb though i would get pissed at all the attention. i would be one of the celebs that stole a paparazzi guy's camera and threw it on the ground or... hit him or something. i would probably get a little annoyed at fans too. it'd be nice to have fans, but what if you're just trying to get your groceries or something? yuck.

Mosty definately.

I mean they are in the spotlight 24/7, I can't imagine how hard that would be in daily life.

Paprazzi following you, people stalking you so that you can't even live in a house that you and your wife love. Thats insane.

I mean I can't gaurantee that if I ever saw them somewhere in public that I wouldn't freak out. Because knowing me I probably would.

But I would also respect their decision if they ever chose to say no for an autograph/picture. After a while I would get tired of all the fans too.

oh yeah, totally. i wouldnt be one of those people (ive heard stories) that get crazy pissed when a celeb wont sign their thing or take a picture. that'd just be wierd. you dont have a right to them, they can say no if they want. :/

They deserve their privacy. Andres is right. They do concerts lots of them and they work really hard. The least we can repay them with for their awsome shows is privacy. At concerts or those meet and greet things it's okay to ask for autographs and pictures. But if you see them walking on the street with their families that would be rude of us.

I would try not to do that even, if I ever see them, though I would most likely freak out. I respect their private lives.

Do I care about GD privacy you say? Of course I do, they deserev it, put since they are in the spotlight thats hard thing to get, w/ alll the media, Paprazzi! I would want to jump and holla and freak out if I saw them, but I would rather refrain from embrassing myself, so I really wouldn't, I just go up to them like a normal person just like you would a friend or a family member, and ask if them if they can take a photo w/ me and have the sign it!

i dont know how i would react if i ever meet them but if their familes were there i would be very embarrased so no i would not do it and i do care about their private lives i mean they are like anybody so they do get pissed off if obsessed fans follow them everywhere, but maybe they just have to give autographs and stuff so that they dont let them down, now im realising the prize of fame well never mind i wont be famous

well yahh!! i mean, i only dig thru their garbage sometimes!!!

yes i respect their privacy, if i ran into one of them i'd

more in likely just say hi how are you doing and leave it

at that i wouldn't go crazy they're normal people to ya know

Mike Dirnt, Tre Cool, and Billie Joe are not just Green Day. They have private lives as well, and if we are truely fans, then we must accept that. I'll be honest, if I saw them walking down the street, I'd feel the impulse to hump them into submission because they are my heros, but, I'd probably just shake their hands, mention they're my heros, and try to make things as quick as possible. People who ask for e-mail addresses are pathetic, and they all deseerve to be on an island with no food or fresh water.

argh, i already fucked up on this one when i met tre cool backstage. but then again, my father had forbade me to talk to any of the members since he was working and all and it'd look bad on his business if i was breaking into green day's dressing room in stuff. but i had tre right there in the dining room!! and he commented on my op.ivy shirt and i couldn't do anything about it!!! damn... fuck their privacy, when i get the chance to meet them again, i'm talking to them

I think that the media needs to back off. How do you think they'd feel if everyone recorded everything they said and tried to videotape them while they were taking a shit?

Posted

Yeah,I do,Even If I knew where one of them lived and I was in the area I wouldn't go to his house or anything,Thats kinda Creepy,I would go up to him in like a super market or something to say to him how much the music means to mean,I would ask him for an autograph though,Cuzz thats asking for to much when he just wants to like shop

I don't care what they do in their private lives as long as they keep on doing great music...but I do care they go well on their lifes and be succesfull as they are wth their music.

i think they understand that it is part of there job to get swamped my sreaming fans at concert and events but i think when they are one their own time they should be left alone, just like any other job.

I care about their privacy. Some of the thinks that's been posted on the forum before, has been way over line.

We shouldn't care about their families and stuff like that really.

I wonder in 50 years time there will be a tribute band LOL

I totally agree with you. I wouldn't want cameras in my face everywhere I went.

yeah i do care about their privacy. it makes me sad when i hear about them being stalked and stuff. i dont even want to know about their private life, i enjoy them from their brilliant music and how they act on stage, thats it.

I would have to honestly say that GD are humans and we do need to respect them. If you saw them walking down the street if it looked like it was an ok opportunity then you take it but if they were with their families then they deserve the respect from the public eye.

If i saw them in public I would probably stop in my tracks and be gob smacked and wouldn't b able to move or speak. That is the kind of person i am, when i 1st saw them in concert i started crying as soon as they walked on the stage because it was my dream coming true right infront of me.

They just need respect and i am sure that these guys are cool so if you did see them in public i am sure that they would b happy to sign a autograph or pose for a pic.
