novacaine77 Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 hmm well when I was 13 I was looking around on AOL music and I saw they had a video of Green Day on AOL Live Performance. so I watched it and I thought they were pretty cool. then one day I was looking on iTunes and I saw they had a live version of Wake Me Up When September Ends [when they played at MA] and I dowloaded it and I always listened to it repetetively. then I went on and bought Bullet in a Bible when it first came out [that was my first Green Day cd =D] and yeah then I eventually collected all their albums

How I heard of them was by a site I would go and write stories and stuff (basicly it was like a forum, but not one). Everyone on there was talking about how AI was so good, and they had posted up stuff like happy b-day Billie, GD ROCKS, etc. Anyways, I was thinking Green Day?? To me I thought it was another term word for Earth Day, but it wasn't, as a girl posted the song Chump and said it was awesome. So I looked it up, listened to it, and I was hooked!!! I found it funny that all those times I thought it meant Earth Day... (hehehe)

Now i'm 23....My brother bought Dookie and the first time I listen to it, I felt that it was different of all the things I ever listen to.It's hard to explain, but Dookie and then Insomniac were not only responsible for my addiction to Green Day, but also responsible for who I am now.God bless them !
