in the parking lot Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 the Holiday video and hearing BOBD on the radio all the time.
Jesusatejamie Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Well 2 ways really...I listened to their song "Minority" on St. Pattricks day around the ages of 7-9....I remember it because it went well with the Irish Boston Parade for some odd reason.and I really liked it...and then I sorta forgot about them...and my bestfriend Jamie showed them to me at the start of the American era in 2004. He was listening to American Idiot in IT and told me to listen to it. I was hooked instantly all over again. Its great because I got to fall in love with them twice.

giant_teabag Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I had seen the american idiot video and thought it was great, so i got the cd, just totally fell in love with it then I got dookie, then nimrod, then BiaB, then warning, then 39/smooth, then insomniac, then kerplunk, then shenanigans, then international superhits =) and there in between I got some dvd's and interview cd's and that stuff.. now it seems that i've been listening to them for all my life. and i wish to death I had discovered them earlier so i could've been a part of those eras too..yeah i know, very interesting for you guys..
golden_goddess Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 My older sister liked them way back in the 90's and I liked a few songs but I didn't really know them. And well I started to like Avril Lavigne and she said that she liked Green Day and so I started listening to my sisters cds and well I just really liked all the songs and yeah, so I've been a fan for awhile now.
samdarko Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Their concert I went to got me into them. God, it was just so amazing. I've never walked out of a concert thinking "oh my gosh, that was the best concert ever" but I did with that one. The AI tour FYI. A little over a year ago, October 1st, 2005. I wish I could go back.
