XxSaintess_JimmyxX Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Before I turned 11, I only listened to the stuff my dad listened to, because I had virtually no musical independance :down: One night, I was laying in bed listening to the radio, and I heard Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and thought it was amazing, so when the radio dude said something like, "And that was Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day off their new CD American Idiot" I was thinking "dude I gotta get that CD"Soo...about 2 weeks later I was at Kmart spending my birthday money when I ran into the CD rack and grabbed that CD...and the rest is history
Wednesday Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I think I knew them from Good Riddance from the radio and I liked them ,but I didn't know who they were. Then AI came out and my friend got really into them and that didn't mean anything to me because I didn't know who they were, but she made me go on this name this tune website thing (stupid, I know) and Good Riddance was playing and I'm like "I know this song!". My friend thought I was insane ,but she told me who they were and one day I saw their album American Idiot in a book store and when I brought it home I was listening to it for days. From then on I've been a devoted Green Day fan.

These guys are awesome!" and I had to buy all their albums I've loved when I come around for as long as I can remember, but I never knew it was a Green Day song until I went to their concert haha MTV got me into Green Day*ahhh! dont hit me!*I've got onto a fair few bands because of MTV *shame*

But when I was on a trip to Estonia when I was 15 i bought dookie just because of the front page, so I rememered this wonderful music again.
