Starbug Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Hmm... Well, there are a few things that give me away as a Green Day fan.13 GD shirts, which I wear. A LOT.Sticker on my car.3 bracelets on my wrist that never come off.My room is covered with them, and it's bled over into our playhouse lolAll the magazines, cd's...I know SO many lyrics to SO many songs. I talk about them a lot.I saved for 7 months to go see them 3 times in concert, all out of state, and would gladly go to every one of them if I could afford to.And then there's the little matter of the GD tattoo on my ankle Billie and Mike wearing my hat made my life hahaThis list could go on, but those are the biggies. So yeah lol I'm a teensy bit obsessed. Just a bit. Also, been a hardcore fan for 15 years
Tiffx Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I have Green Day posters in my room, I spend most of my time on GDC, I like making Green Day graphics even though I suck and I'm going to three Green Day shows this summer. Oh and I talk about them quite a bit but no one in my family cares. Life is good.
Peace and Rainbows Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 posters, going weak in the knees when hereing about them and gushing to everyone about Billie Joe's sexiness, 9.5 man,(I just need enough cash to buy me a shirt)
rage-love-life Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 If you're on a GD forum, you're a fan. And also if you know nearly all their songs by heart.
Sharmellow Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 A couple shirts, a ton of posters, cds, magazines, a few nicknacks here and there. That's about it. And I know all their songs and shit like that.
Teenage Kicks! Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 People at school CALL ME Green Day. Nuff said.I just glow with Green Dayness
-Billiejoezee- Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 just by being known as the biggest green day fan in school,is enough. but i also carry a photo of billie in my wallet :whistling:
chaoschloeshesarebel Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 i did have 3 posters, all from the AI era, but they got ripped :/ and then, i have a newspaper article, and anything green day related that i find in the newspaper, magazines, or whatever, on my wardrobe, so my wardrobe's covered!CDs, i used to have like, a sweat band, but i didnt wear it. not sure where it is :/...
spark in the night Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 the only thing that really "proves" my Green Day fanage these days is one poster on my wall, and one tshirt that I wear frequently (that Beth got me ) and that I have their music on my ipod and go to their showsI used to be more crazy, but not anymoremy large framed GD poster, BIAB poster, and 2 GD collages are in the attic now
TheBullwinkle Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I feel like I should take a picture of my room to prove how sadly Green Day-obsessed I am.
-Billiejoezee- Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I feel like I should take a picture of my room to prove how sadly Green Day-obsessed I am.your not the only one.
Brian Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I talk about them. A lot. like every chance i get. And i always listen to them when i drive
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I dunno what tell-tale signs I have. But 'y'know' has rubbed off on me. I listen to them all the time. Talk about them constantly. If they're on anything, I have to watch it... even if I've already seen it.The most recent thing that's come up, though... is there's a new Wal-Mart being built nearby. A bunch of my friends applied, and got hired there. They keep telling me how great it is, and how well it pays. And about these $500 dollar bonuses they get every few months if their department is profitable. And telling me I should apply.I can't bring myself to apply, and actually work there because of their idiotic censorship thing, and how they refuse to sell 21st Century Breakdown, despite all that.I'm told that's above and beyond crazy, but I can't seem to care.
Angela. Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I feel like I should take a picture of my room to prove how sadly Green Day-obsessed I am.I'm curious now. Do you have a picture to show?
LibertyBelle. Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I just bought a lovely new 21st century breakdown poster, and a new 21st century breakdown shirt - the white one with the statue of liberty on Its the nicest in my opinion.
*Whatsername-is a-ReBeL* Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 well i know every song and the lyrics to every song they've ever made. Just by looking at me you would think she's a cheerleader and she's preppy but people won't be thinking that for long. Going on a tie and tight-collar shopping spree...im showing my passion for billie joe's apparel
Robin105 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 If anyone's there number 1 fan it's definetly me. I have so much stuff it isn't funny. You should all see my bedroom. I'm so proud of it. I love it. Whenever someone new comes over I'm always like oooh look at my room. lmao. I talk about them constantly which pisses off my parents. Everything I do is related to them. I even say I have OCGDD like it's a real disease. Somebody will be talking "oh I have this." and I'll be like. "I have OCGDD." they have no idea what it is. lol. I can't even go one day without listening to them. Sometimes my mom puts on the hits station on the TV and I always listen for a Green Day song. They never play one though. Oh and I freakout if I hear the word Green or Day. Especially the city Green Bay, Wisconsin.
xXNemoXx Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Oh Go d this is going to be long.- All 10 videos on my MP4 are Green Day- I have Every Green Day CD excapt 2, but I downloaded them off Limewire cause I can't find them anywhere. And I also have 'DUI' Modern Rock Interview Mike Dirnts 'How Babies are Made' - I have one Green Day poster at my moms, one at my dads.-I bought a magazine that had a TINY picture of Billie Joe in it and the picture was as big as the one they have on Drivers Liscense. - I have a 'Blvd. Of Broken Dreams' sign- My notebook and sketchbook are covered with pictures of Green Day Front and back.- I've seen every Music video- I watch BIAB ALL the time. I even have a special little DVD player for it.- I look at the album cover about once a day.- I spent 35 dollars on the Green Day shirt I WANTED instead of the one that was 'Ok' and only 20 dollars- I'm dying my hair Green on the day I turn 18... though Idk if it's because Tre use to and it was kickass or because I just LOVE the color... could be both- My friends and my mom just about want to smack me cause I'll either relate to an interview or article about them while having a discussion. And that's not all but it's kinda pathetic so I'm going to stop coming up with signs.

CarmenPunkGirl Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 just by being known as the biggest green day fan in school,is enough. same thing for me
Metanoia Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 and for me........and that i REALLY couldn't live without them anymore.......i would do anything to meet them and it would break my heart if they wouldn't make music anymore !!!!!!!!!
Hermione Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Oh and I freakout if I hear the word Green or Day. Especially the city Green Bay, Wisconsin.Oh my god me too . And it's the same for any word or phrase remotely connected to Green Day, like the other day when my dad said that "Sugar and spice and all things nice, that's what little girls are made of..." children's rhyme to my nephew. My sister and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing
Modern Zero. Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Oh my god me too . And it's the same for any word or phrase remotely connected to Green Day, like the other day when my dad said that "Sugar and spice and all things nice, that's what little girls are made of..." children's rhyme to my nephew. My sister and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing ^LMAO. Today while in Geometry, my teacher was going around and checking homework as we checked our answers on the board and she was like, "You guys can just check your homework up on the board while I make my rounds checking to see if you completed it." And I immediately thought of "Making your rounds once again" from Tight Wad Hill. And the sad thing is, I forgot what she said, but I knew it was something Green Day song related, and so just a couple minutes ago I went onto GDA into the lyrics section and for some reason I had a feeling that it came from Insomniac and so I clicked on Tight Wad Hill and there it was! It's so weird...it's like it's in my subconscious or something and it just pops right out in front of me.
Isabel Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I just saw an ad on MTV for the VMA's. I wasn't really listening though and I was having this amazing, massive yawn and yer man just suddenly goes "GREEN DAY" and I just gulped awkwardly and totally lost the rest of the yawn; had to rewind back and listen to what he said, but he was only listing the bands who are performing
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I guess the GD badge i wear on my school tie is a giveaway...As for rating myself, no i won't do it. I think it's kinda pointless. I know how much i like them, i don't need to tell others. It might be just more visible in some than others too, so whatevs, it's not neccesarrily an obvious thing.
