I don't buy them, never did. I do however go to the library, and rip out the posters. Sometimes there's a scissor involved, and I cut out whatever I want. I've never seen a prep in there, so no one knows :cool:

i buy them to see if theres any green day info i havent already heard about... or to point out to my famliy how stupid the magazine is and that i knew the green day facts in it already... i buy em for the posters mostly

HAHA! I just got back from the grocery store and I was looking through a magazine that had Billie on the cover and I open it up it says "I love to hear fans sing! - Bille Joe" Bille Joe???????? Is that even pronouceable? I guess its not as bad as the whole billy jo thing.... :woot:

Ugh, not these again. I'm ashamed to say that I used to buy them every once in a while, but finally stopped a few months ago. Though at least I only bought them for the posters, and not...everything else. Those mags really annoy me. One had some Hello Kitty "rock guitar" on "sale" for like 300 bucks or something. Then the other day I felt like shooting someone when I found out that the All-American Rejects are starting to pop up in there too. Ever since they started touring with FOB...

I dunno if someone mentioned this yet, but I saw one that had one of those "FACT OR FICTION!?" sections in them, and one of the questions was, "IS BILLIE JOE REALLY LEAVING GREEN DAY TO WORK WITH THE NETWORK!?!?"

I'm sorry, I'll stop with the caps.

This one annoying girl that sits at my lunch table at school buys those mags all the time. And every time she'll shove it in my face, going "Hey Jenny, look, it's your favorite band, Green Day!!" And I'll be like "that's nice, whatever"

the title says it all.

i saw one that said IS BILLIE JOE DITCHING GREEN DAY??? on the cover. inside there was and article that said something like:

Many people have been saying that this Green Day cutie (me::sick: ) is going to leave Green Day for another band called The Network. this isnt true! The Network is not a band that Billie is a member of, but it is on Billie Joe's record company, Adeline Records. he's never ditching his band! "I love these guys," he says.

i thought that was pretty funny. :D

Green Day is in girl magazines cuz they made a great album and they look "cute". ew. there so inaccurate.

ya... i saw this one paragraph that started: we all know billie joe armstrong as the sexy, thick black eye liner wearing, lead singer of green day. but with his messy hair he is more than that.

i cant tell you how many worst dressed lists he made for his blonde hair, and 90% of them were printed after it was died back to black.

almost ever green day article ends with: go have a green day. tons of teen magazines are telling millions of teens to go smoke some pot with your friends.

^There's always the classic line "Is Billy Jo quitting Green Day??? Exclusive info inside!" And then you go to the page with the "exclusive info" and it says nothing more than "No, the punk rocker is staying with Green Day for good!"...fuckin teenie mags.

I refuse to buy a teenie mag...I do however rip out the posters/pictures I want out of them and leave. Green Day shouldn't be in those magazines so I guess when I take them I'm robbing some stupid ten year old of their Green Day fix... Thanks Walmart :thumbsup:

Gah I hate those! Majority of it is complete bullshit anyway. Especailly the quotes. :mad:

I do sometimes take the pictures out and put them inside a different magazine that I'm getting though. :cool:

I admit I used to read those little fag magazines like J-14, M, and other crap like that. They used to always say how hot Billie Joe was. Only Billie Joe. Like there was never one mention of Tre or Mike. They never discussed their music. It was only about how hot and "punk rock" Billie was.

That or who his "new girlfriend" was
