I heard Walking Contradiction in a bathroom. Also to add to that, when I first heard the song, I thought one of the lyrics was "I shit so deep you can't run away", I have no idea how someone could do that but none the less I started laughing in the bathroom and everyone started staring at me thinking I was crazy.

Is there really a place where a Green Day song wouldn't be appropriate?

While I was touring Italy a few months back during Spring Break, "Stray Heart" was playing in a Venice Candy shop..

Also saw posters for Green Day's 99 Revolutions Tour EVERYWHERE.

Best trip ever

Before a Bon Jovi concert, Boulevard of Broken Dreams was playing. Also, in the commercial for that movie where turkeys try to stop the first Thanksgiving

Just came back from Menorca where an old Spanish woman in the bar over the road was a playing a cheap keyboard and singing Motown songs. All of a sudden my GD senses picked up something peculiar and I realised she was singing American Idiot. It was that car crash feeling of horrible fascination and not being able to turn away.

Good Riddance came on the radio when I was in IKEA once... weird...

Well idk if this counts, but my schools orchestra band playing Holiday at the assembly and football game.

I heard Warning playing in a Safeway. Not that weird, but it felt strange.

Maybe not that weird, but a bit unexpected, I've heard them being played on the UK tv program Eastenders a number of times, either in 'the caf' or 'the pub' - and either Kill the DJ, Stray Heart or Oh Love, definately singles from The Trilogy.

Know Your Enemy and Holiday on Bargain Hunt

On holidays in Greece, a guy had WAITING on repeat in his car :D

My mum was watching flog it the other night and some of the intro to warning was used as bg music

I remember when the BBC had a trailer for some kind of music programme a few years ago (something like teaching celebrities to play instruments, I think) and Burnout was the background music for the trailer.

I once watched an amateur porn on xvideos and it had Waiting on the background. It was something canadian related.

It's good to finally let this out.
