*patronsaintofthedenial* Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 If it was something like graduating, then it's not random. Good Riddance is probably the number one song to be used for 'moving on' occasions.I wanted that played at our leaving assembly, but not enough people requested it compared to the others that got requested I haven't heard Green Day being played anywhere strange, but I'll keep an ear out now! jjones Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I was in Barnes & Noble the other day picking up my summer reading books, and they had Gangta's Paradise playing... elevator music remix. It was pretty cool. Quote

cemetary_drive7 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 (edited) My friend and I were riding kiddy bicycles in Toys R Us when they started playing Wake Me Up. We kinda went all "what the fuck?" and left. It was kinda funny, but annoying at the same time. Also we heard Holiday in Payless Shoe Source, American Idiot during "Play Day" for the little kids at my school, (they had this big speaker playing songs to keep them occupied), and I was at a festival near my town and there was a talent show, and some band, the guys had to be no older than like 15, they played 409...my friend and I were singing the whole thing and nobody knew what song they were playing. It was special. Edited June 30, 2006 by cemetary_drive7 Quote
