ollhjr Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Meant to post this a month ago, but they played Nice Guys Finish Last at one of the Green Bay Packer training camp practices. They made it through the first chorus, and then realized that there were a few swear words in the song. That may be a song they could play at a closed practice, but maybe not the best choice to play at an open practice where tiny children can attend. Not that I care, but I was excited the song. I knew that once they got to the chorus the first time it was going to be awkward. Quote

Even though it's not their best song, it's still freakin' Green Day people! I also heard Coming Clean on this Japanese TV show where these little kids were cleaning their school classrooms. I'm 100% sure that the people who made the show saw the word 'clean' in the title and used it as background music. Oh, how wrong they were... XD Quote

Mykee Mexx Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Not a weird place, but surprising. Once a year for Xmas I use to play in a theatre along with a group of people. Every year we have some musicians, this year a guy playing guitar and singing. During breaks at rehearsals ever so often he used to play every kind of music backstage, just jamming around, singing with others, improvising with a piano player, and entertaining us (and mostly himself, because he enjoyed himself). One day during a rehearsal break he started to play Good Riddance, singing along with another member of the theatre. It happened that I just was there at the right time and joined in. So I can say this was most likely the first and last opportunity that I sang a GD song on stage. 2 Quote
