Mallory Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Well we get between 35,000 - 50,000 a day. Usually around 42,000. I'm not sure how much gd.com gets, but it has to be up in the 80-90,000 range i would imagine. and when i started (may 04) we got around 2000 a day. wow. thats a huge jump in numbers. thats ace. . how much is it costing you?
Fuzz Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 right now it's running around $40 / day to advertise there.
Fuzz Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 yeah. the idea is that people will click the ad, go to the merch page, buy something (when people buy stuff from our merch page, we get money), then they'll remember GDA and keep coming back. The more people that visit GDA the more money we get for merch and from our Google ads we have on the side. If it works, we'll be making more than we are spending.
Fuzz Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 i'm the buisness man of gda. just ask court.

Yesh, but wat if people dont remember GDA and more and more keep forgeting So u wud be losing money
Fuzz Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 well it's not like we pay $40 every day. We pay a certain amount each time someone clicks the ad. It could reach up to $40 / day. So we wont lose money if people aren't going to GDA.

Oh I get it Didn't know you get money from the merch though.
Fuzz Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 This gets very complicated on how the entire system is setup. I wont bother going into the details (tis my buisness secrets) but I assure you it'll work.
