_of rage and love_ Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 This became a "12 years ago" thread Ow well, 12 years ago I was 7. I didn't had my own music taste. I only watched disney movies and listened to some childrens music. The rest of the music were my parents' and the radio. Ow I wish I new Green Day 12 years ago. I would be such a rebel same goes for me too except i was five
celeryeater Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 12 years ago I was 5. Three more years till I first heard Green Day. :whistling:
Jamie311 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I was probably wearing a flannel shirt and ripped jeans. I know I had my Chuck Taylors on though. Those shoes and that cd are timeless classics. Unlike flannel. I am so feeling you !! I KNOW I was rocking my flannel and my chucks...I was so fucking Grunge! LOL (of corse I still ware chucks, I have since I was 5...seriously, they were pink...anywho...) ahhh, those were they days!
~*johanna*~ Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Wow, cool. 10 years ago I was 8 or so... I think the first time I ever heard GD was a few couple years later. My sister was a teenager, so she obviously got into the radio and music. Happy Anniversary Dookie!
ImnotaDrIjustPlayOneOnTV Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I am so feeling you !! I KNOW I was rocking my flannel and my chucks...I was so fucking Grunge! annie Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Hmm. I was 4 and didn't know who the fuck Green Day was. But I do remember seeing the music video for Longview on MTV! Funny, the things you remember. Someone could be like "remember your aunt's wedding when you were 5?" and I'm like no.... but a random music video I saw on TV? Completely remember it.
Jamie311 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Not that this does not happen alot around here... but this seems to have turned into the "Make Jamie feel like an old fart" thread! Jesus...there are 8 year olds in here...

~RebelKitten~ Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 See kids? When your parent's say that you're just sitting on your butt on the internet, not learning anything, you can tell them that you are learning history.
