I don´t really hear to the music that my dad hears (hard rock, heavy metal, austrian rock,...). he likes Green Day too, but not so much as I do .

OH DEAR ._. well, in my opinion is shit. I mean he likes all this poppish italian music. ughh. ._. my mum likes Bruce Springsteen and the Doors, other than of all the music my father listens to. but other than that both of them hate the kind of music I listen to, especially Green Day. they don't understand at all! ._. it's annoying, but the same story is being going on for 3 years now, when I actually started to ask for a bit of independence.. so I am kind of used to it. actually it is getting better with the time, I am also growing up. but I remember at the beginning it was more than hell! :-S

And my mom has little interest in music in general. This is the most recent song I youtube ripped for my dad at his request. It's... interesting

Guest EDIT Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Neither one of my parents like them, but my dad seems to like the I Fought the Law cover and my mom will always start singing when I play waiting and it is really annoying because she is singing the words to an old similar lyric song called downtown or something and she acts like she is some pro opera singer and I have to pretend she is good to avoid hurting her feelings. Almost none of my friends really like GD, but a lot of them say "o ya, they cool" or "i like that one song i dont wanna be american idiot" or they say "green day suck, they're only good song is 21 guns"

It took me a good 10 minutes to tell him they didn't have a female vocalist and it was actually just a soundbite of Liz Taylor.

My mom is all pop and my dad is all classic and hard rock. He's more Deep Purple,Led Zeppelin,Pink Floyd and Nazareth .. (awesome bands by the way)

And my mom's boyfriend likes Green Day too. He watched with me BIAB and AAF! My mom and her boyfriend have a really good music taste!

My little cousins sometimes play the game "being Green Day" its so hilarious to see three little girls playing Billie, Mike and Tré. Also my parents and my sister was on a Green Day show with me and they can't wait to see them again.
