Parents' Music Interests , do they like Green Day?

me and my dad have a lot of the same music interests since it all washed off on me from him. he likes classic rock like the clash, the ramones, the doors, rolling stones (from thirty years ago... said it himself), and even some oldies. hell, he even knows who the misfits are, and that is a plus for some parents.

my mom is weird when it comes to music... that's all i'm saying..

my dad liked Pink Floyd, Queen, The Beatles... I like music he liked

my mom... she likes Norah Jones, Elvis Presley but she also likes Green Day (anyway she says that they always play like they were on rehearsal ). She even likes some soad's songs (lonley day, lost in hollywood, soldier side )

Well, my mom has a great taste in music and I've been listening to it since I was born.

I dont even think my dad listens to any music anymore...

I think he liked Elvis and The Beatles when he was a kid but now he just listens to the car radio...Kinda sad, really

My Dad is really into music, and does listen to a few of the same things I do. Green Day would not be one of those. He doesn't hate them though.

I remember back when I was growing up he even listened to a couple Nirvana songs to see if he liked them.

I couldn't list all teh types he listened to. The one I hate though is country. BLECH. I got stuck for 50 miles listening to country music on a road trip a couple years ago when they came to visit.

I wanted to kill myself.

The next week, I brought headphones for the next road trip....

My dad rarely listens to music, but he will listen to MCR or Fall Out Boy if it's on the radio. Same thing with my mom, ecxept she likes a lot of cheesy 80's pop too.

well, my dad likes a couple of old gd songs basketcase, welcome to paradise, dookie stuff. he also likes wake me up a lot, he tells me to play it all the time. my mom thinks green day is okay... but what does she know? according to her, green day isn't "punk rock". im pretty much the only one in my family that likes metal and punk. my dad likes classic rock, which is okay. my mom likes jazz. and my sister is obsessed with hannah montana. ew. but me n my dad both like billy joel and jimi hendrix.

yeah me and my parents like somewhat of the same music. we like the older rock like AC/DC, The Steve Miller Band, Areosmith and old bands like that. I do know my mom likes MRC and my dad likes some songs by the offspring.

yeah, my dad likes pretty much all the music i like..in fact he was the one who introduced me to rock and punk.
