Parents' Music Interests , do they like Green Day?

i mean maybe she'll go with me to a green day concert someday (IF WE CAN ) , and i think she'll be very surprised by billie's behavior , i dont know , IS IT THE RIGHT THING TO DO AND HOW ?

i always tell her : mummy , if u had to go to a gd concert ill go with my friend and her sister could take us ( she's 19 years old) . cuz i didn't want her to go with me , she laughed and said : hehehe yeah honey , IF you go to that concert we'll talk about it

so i tell her that i didin't wanted her to pay the ticket 4 herself ( silly reason )

i dont know about it , maybe if she knows she will hate green day and wouldn't let me buy their albums but thats too silly to be true

i wish i could know her reaction ...

Well my mom likes Disco, Adult Alternative and any band thats not too 'heavy'.

My dad likes the oldies. Anything from 30s-70s I suppose. Anything thats not too 'heavy'

My mom does like Green Day, but i think she only likes stuff from AI.

My Dad hasn't heard any of Green Day's music, from what I know.

well my dad knows that i love Green Day but he dosnot like them so much

we have some songs that we both like but they are very vew ones he likes more

My rents just heard about GD last year or in 05, and my stepfather even burned my AI cd. I think he was just trying to be cool,he's open to more music than my mom is. She's into gospel and easy listening. He's just into whatever at the moment. Kinda hard to believe they never heard of them w/ me living w/ them for so long. but yeah, I hate their music I think it's boring.

My father doesnt show whether he likes or dislikes them, but if i put the cds on in the car he'll turn it real low..and if i turn it up even a smidgeon it goes off. but no...the sisters can have songs about umbrellas on and they get fuckin as loud as fuckin they want.

I just put my ipod headphones in her ear about an hour ago.....stuck platypus on....she actually seemed to like it, which surprises me.

all my family used to like them at some stage. my mam likes them, but i hate when trys to sing along in the car... making up her own word. my day likes Warning and AI, but he gets pissed off with everything else. everyone in my house used to like green day... but then i liked them... which then turned into an obsession my parents dnt usually like what i listen too, but thet dont ming green day overall.

My mom loves The Who, David Bowie, and Queen just like me except she hates Green Day

but me and my mom always say we hate boy bands they aren't really men.

My friends look at me strange when I said that so my mom responded to thier confused looks with "We like those stoned, drunk and has been in jail rockstars"
