Parents' Music Interests , do they like Green Day?

My mum and I have the same rock interests.. My family was raised on rock, and oldies and the such. I didn't get that nasty country music gene. She raised me on Green Day since birth (literally) and so I think I got that from her. My dad doesn't seem to listen to music any.

my parents are happy, cause i don´t listen to hiphop or dancehall,...! My mom says: "I don´t hate Green Day. But you listen to them so often- now i hate billie joe´s voice." (<--- what a shame :/ ) She´s into some slower songs by my chem ("cancer" and "the ghost of you"... well, "helena", too). Well, she hates all the other bands I listen to. My dad used to like american idiot, until I listened to it "too often". He always says, he doesn´t like My Chem. But everytime I listen to their music, he says, he likes it (except from IBYMBYBMYL´s songs...). He listens to Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, U2 ( :/ ) and he likes 2 songs of P! ATD.

the only 2 songs my parents like are Armatage Shanks and Good Riddance. My History teacher at school (aged 50) loves GD and has all their albums and may make an account on GDC sometime!
