My dad likes Green Day cause he says the bass is awesome and blahdee blah blah... But they laugh at Ha Ha You're Dead and say it has a ridiculous title. Oh well.

I've ended up having similar music tastes to my parents, going as far as borrowing their Cds to burn occasionally! My dad is into his 60s pop and rock, my mum likes that too but also country music.The good music fan moves laterally, taking in everything he can.

Her latest objession is Eminem.She hates NOFX, Rancid, she is sick of Sex Pistols, Ramones and Clash. (cause she heard of them very much because of my dad).My dad (when he was alive at least) his favourite bands were Clash and Sex Pistols (from him i objessed too.) he liked in general all the punk and rock wave anyway.I must not forgot to mention that both my parents were in rock bands (my dad as guitarist and my mum as singer).

clusterbomb Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 my mom got me into green day when i was 5, she bought dookie and i stole it cz i loved when i come around.then she got me insomniac the day it came out and then imported me 39 smooth and kerplunk from the us wen i was 7 then i skipped skool to get nimrod the very day it came out and have done that with every album and single since then lol.my mom loves green day and she is really supportive with my band i love my mommy hehehe

Whenever When I come around or Holiday are on the radio, he'll sing along. and I think he likes how im so into rock music rather than other music types. I dont know..they never get mad at me because I like Green Day, so..yeah.

It's kind of scary to watch her dance to it....and my dad listens to classic rock and country, basically. They don't mind Green Day. They both sing along whenever they come on the radio. My mom thinks Billie's a studmuffin. And my dad thinks Mike's the only straight one...

And he likes Red Hot Chili Peppers as well.my mom listens to crap, Elton John, Partridge Family, Macthbox 20..yea..no.
