Red`Spark Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I've been listening to their music for a few years now. I haven't always been a fan but the last album won me over. They are awesome.

Dearlybeloved666* Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 well probably for about 4 to 5 years. but i've probably been obsessed with them for three years at the most.
Morgaine Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 ^Wow, that's incredible long! Since American Idiot, not too long, but... meh
beth74 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Since a friend gave me the Kerplunk CD, in the summer of 92 I think. I know it was right before my first semester at college. So about 14 years. I thought it was a great CD, but I was shocked when they became so huge in 94.
GreenDay-Idiot Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I've loved them since dookie came out....and a real fan fan since Nimrodwow I wish I could have known and like Green Day since Dookie but I was only 4!I like them since Warning came out.
*.punkrocker_girl.* Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I think the first GD song I heard was 'Basket Case' when I was about 5. My brother was about 12/13 at the time and he was a big fan, so that was how I'd heard of them. When I was 7, he bought the Nimrod album and I used to borrow it. I didn't really start getting into GD until I was about 9/10 when I really became quite obsessed hehe and I'm now 15- 16 in about two and a half weeks that's kinda like my story, but my siblings were older like 15-19, and i was much younger, like a baby(1995)...and then i played basketcase for the first time when i was about 10, about 8 months ago, and i recognized it, it was cool how i recognized it, cuz i remembered the way he says"do u have the time, to listen to me whine"so yeah...right now i'm 11, and my siblings aren't big fans of gd anymore, they like guns n' roses...they're from 26 to 30...(3 siblings...)
Guest 16PaperLanterns Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Well, I've liked their music since Shenanigans came out, but I never really remembered who 'that band' was until American Idiot. I didn't realize it was the same band. A nice surprise when I got Shenanigans.
