How long have you been a Green Day fan for?

ive only been a fan since 2004 when american idiot came out,so yeah im a new fan.its not like i never liked green day before american idiot came out, i did,but i wasn`t obsessed. then i started listening to the new music,bought the cd,and now i have a bunch of their cds so yeah.

I cant remember exactly when it was, quite a long time ago, but i remember when i was little, i used to hear my sister playing it and really liked it, so i sorta got into them then =]

I hate to say it but since I first heard American Idiot o.o I have heard Minority before that and loved it.. I have all of their albums and I love their old music.

then i bought AI.

then for a while i didn't like them, then on sept. 24th 2005 i became a huge fan again.

well, i liked a couple songs when i was about 7, but i didn't know who sang them (good riddance and when i come around). i really started listening to them when i saw them at the pop disaster tour with blink 182 (though i had liked them a bit because of minority before that). but yeah, that was about... 4 years and 2 1/2 months ago or something. then i bought international superhits and the rest followed (except ai, i downloaded that before it came out, but ended up giving it to a friend because i didn't like very many of the songs on it anyway).

I actually heard good riddance when i was really little and loved it and i never knew who it was by and i pretty much grew up with country so i had no clue that there was a band named Green Day and like just after AI came out i heard holiday on the radio and i was with my bro so i asked him who it was and he was like Green Day i was like cool! and i never did find them on the internet until my best friend introduced me to em and i loved them i'm been a fan ever since i've looked up a lot she hooked me up with some awsome stuff and i was hooked after hearing only one song. Now i have like 5 albums on my comp. and have it on shuffle and i sing along to almost every single one of them. its been only like 4 months.
