Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Definitely Letterbomb, then maybe the UK crowds wouldn't have missed out on it, I'm still gutted they only introduced it on the US tour, it's probably my favourite Green Day song that isn't Good Riddance.

andrewmackenzie Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 well, I suppose I gotta break it down into: Songs that I would want for singles because I think that they would sound great on the radio: 1,039 - Going to Pasalacqua and/or Paper Lanterns Kerplunk - 2,000 Light Years Away (more or less is, though, ain't it? - ) dookie - Burnout and/or Coming Clean and my favorite song ever, duh - Having a Blast Warning: - Castaway (#1 Choice) American Idiot - St. Jimmy and Letterbomb 21st CBd - I hope, hope, hope, hope, hope that they release the Static Age as a single and Songs that I would want to be singles because of their potential for great music videos: 1,039 - Dry Ice Kerplunk - One for the Razorbacks and Dominated Love Slave dookie - all three of the ones I suggested above (Burnout, Having a Blast, and Coming Clean) would make great videos a video fir J.A.R. nimrod. - SO MANY - mainly The Grouch, KING FOR A DAY (#1 Choice), and Prosthetic Head, but also Worry Rock and Walking Alone (although too much of that imagery of Walking Alone would have been stolen by BlvdofBD's video) Warning: - Blood, Sex, & Booze and/or Deadbeat Holiday American Idiot - a Movie, 21st CBd - East Jes-ohhhhh, right. I think I just listed 1/2+ of their non-singles discography... but, who gives a fuck?
jennwashere Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 viva la gloria would have been a better choice than LOTAG
iloveyouisntenough Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 I'd love a single of Paper Lanterns....
MCC Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Horseshoes and Handgrenades or American Eulogy are the two I feel really strongly about at the moment although I must admit H&H would probably not be a good single since the radio would censor it and basically ruin a kickass song.
Jaymee!! Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 1039: 16 Kerplunk: 2000 Light Years Away Dookie: Longview Insomniac: Geek Stink Breath Nimrod: All The Time Warning: Church On Sunday American Idiot: She's A Rebel 21st Century Breakdown: American Eulogy
PasalacquaBomb Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 1039: Going To Pasalaqua Kerplunk: 2000 Light Years Away Dookie: She (as a real single, not only promo) Insomniac: 86 Nimrod: Scattered Warning: Blood, Sex And Booze American Idiot: Letterbomb or Novacaine 21st Century Breakdown: American Eulogy or The Static Age
MascaraTears Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 letterbomb, whatsername, coming clean, burnout, having a blast, ¡viva la gloria!, american eulogy, going to pasalacqua, king for a day... ok I'll stop
champagne mami Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 1039: Going to Pasalacqua Kerplunk: One for the Razorbacks Dookie: Having a Blast Insomniac: Stuart and the ave. Nimrod: Redundant Warning: Misery American Idiot: Homecoming 21st Century Breakdown: American Eulogy
Mrs. Nobody Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Horseshoes and Handgrenade for 21CB Otherwise I don't really know
Katarina. Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 1039SOSH: Going to Pasalacqua/ Paper Lanterns Kerplunk: Christie Road/ Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? Dookie: Burnout Nimrod: Scattered/ Haushinka Warning: Blood, Sex and Booze/ Deadbeat Holiday American Idiot: LETTERBOMB! 21st Century Breakdown: I pretty much would have chosen all different songs than the ones that are singles now. The Static Age, American Eulogy..
Maura99 Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 American Eulogy! This. One of the best songs on 21CB in my opinion. It would do great as a single, and it would make an awesome music video.
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 From Kerplunk, Christie Road and Who Wrote Holden Caulfield for sure, Dookie singles were good, except I would have liked She to be a proper single. Nimrod: Haushinka, Scattered. Warning: Deadbeat Holiday for sure, maybe Church on Sunday. American Idiot: St Jimmy definitely and also Letterbomb. 21st Century Breakdown: Oh God. H&H, Viva La Gloria!, East Jesus Nowhere (properly), Before The Lobotomy, American Eulogy, The Static Age.
