whatsername_st.jimmy Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 i heard Good Riddance and When I Come Around on the radio a lot when i was younger, but i never really got into them until i heard BOBD.
StarTrooper Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 "Good Riddence (Time of Your Life") Because it was the only song I recongized off the International Superhits CD.I was in Wal-Mart (where I work) browsing for some new music, saw ISH, scanned the barcode and listened to some song clips, the first of which was Good Riddence, which I recongized. I bought the CD just because of that song, but as I listened to the rest of the CD, I was immediately hooked on the band. That same week I purchased Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod and Warning. The following week I picked up copies of 39/Smooth, Kerplunk and Shenanigans. It's been about 3-4 years since I first picked up that copy of ISH. I've been listening to Green Day since then. It was because of Green Day that I started listening to other bands, like The Clash.
Slappypunk Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 The first Green Day song that i heard was Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) i still remember hearing that song when i was a little kid and i mean really little
