Good Riddance was technically the first Green Day song I ever heard, but seeing the American Idiot music video on tv was the first time I actually really knew who they were.

Good riddance. I didn't know it was them until i saw a show and they mentioned it was by Green Day. Then I was visiting my friend in RI who had just bought Nimrod and she let me listen to it and i was listening to the Grouch. So I'm like... I am in love. went home and asked for nimrod for my birthday.
