Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I used to hang out on a chat room (OMG, it was just like the one here only different colors T_T) and one of the gals was a huge Green Day fan. Then one of my friends couldn't believe I didn't like Green Day, especially Boulevard of Broken Dreams (and she started singing it). Then later a fanfic I read (my fave, BTW... and most of the songs she mentioned, I liked) mentioned BOBD, so I downloaded it and loved it instantly. Then I listened to American Idiot and said 'O.o, I'll stick to Boulevard of Broken Dreams'. Earlier this year, I went on a trip with ma parents. I couldn't stand to be away from Boulevard of Broken Dreams for so long, so I asked if they'd buy me a CD. Amazingly, my dad said yes. So I bought American Idiot, and immediately fell in love with every song on there. Keep in mind, Iused to/always will be a COUNTRY fan. So me liking Green Day's somewhat odd. Their music affects me a lot more than most people understand...

Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I remember hearing it for the first time on the radio. I was like "This is such a beautiful song!" Then my best friends slept over and showed me Bullet in a Bible. I was blown away! And then I went to the mall the next day and got 2 posters of them!

The first song I heard was Minority at age four, but I didn't like it back then. The song that made me a fan was Holiday when I was 13 or 14

Good Riddance, but that just made me go buy Superhits because it sparked an interest. That album was what really made me a Green Day fan.

well...i think it was longview...i only remember that cause my mom told me i would run up to the tv when longview came on and i'd dance around...i was 4-5 years old...haha...can't exactly remember that far back but i do remember in '95 hearing brain stew all the time on the radio and loving it......i do remember begging my mom to get the song...i just said give me the song alot...like i really understood the whole cd thing then....lol...but i always liked them...since '94....but it was just a few songs when i was really young...when nimrod came out in '97 when i was 8...thats when i reallly started loving them!.......but its not that crazy of an idea u know...remembering something that happened when u were five...i remember a lot of when i was 2-3 yrs. old...like the cat i had....when i got hit in the eye with a crowbar...and its not that insane for a five year old to have amazing taste in music.......especially when ur parents played rock non stop all through ur childhoood......eh

First song I ever heard was "When I Come Around" on my cousin's radio when I was little. He had two Dookie albums, so he gave me one for my 7th birthday. Ever since then, I've been in love with GD.
