~RebelKitten~ Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 It was either Boulevard of Broken Dreams or Wake Me Up When September Ends... I can't remember now.
coldfeet Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Basket Case for sure. I was in grade 6, sitting on the school bus and two guys were singing it. I bought Dookie after school that day.
Ida Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I'm pretty sure it was Basket Case... I just remember the video playing over and over again on TV... I was 4 when dookie came out so I didn't know then what they wore or anything, but when I was like 11 or something I heard it again from a friend and I fuckin loved it! (still do!) so I went out and bought Dookie!
SuicidalHeart Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Brain Stew, it was on one of those free cd's.
Awesome Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 American Idiot.I only bought the CD because the store didn't have the one that I wanted. I had never listened to GD before, so when I got home and the music started to flow out of the speakers, I was like: "This sucks". But I felt like I had to listen to the whole CD, I mean, I payed a lot of money for it. But in the end I was sitting, or lying or whatever, on the floor with this insanely good feeling. And I was like. Woooooooow! I've never heard anything like this before! Cool! But then again, my big brother have said that he made me listen to Dookie when I was 3.. But again: I didn't like it. So I can't brag about being a fan since I was 3 or 2. That's the story.
Marina008 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 It was American Idiot, then I've decided to buy the album cuz I loved this song, I thought this album rocked then I bought Dookie and I began to be a fan, last time I bought Warning a great album too, I love all of Greenday's songs
