Isabel Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Haha, song stealer! I wish Chris Dugan got a photo of me on-stage ... I got no official photo. Darn.Haha yeah, but I was on about the UK and Ireland tour Hey, at least I'll be remembered for something That sucks you don't have an official photo. But the one on your facebook is amazing, because Tre is smiling in the background! Ahhhhh I see. Yeah, there could have been about 6 then

Yeah, but oh well, I'll keep looking around, I'm sure there'll be a photo.... somewhere. At least a lot of us got pulled up during the whole tour, all of the US, European, UK and Irish legs of the tour. We're cool mother fuckers.

LOADS of people always film/take pictures during the first song, so there has to be some good ones somewhere! I was SO happy when you got pulled up too. I think Jackie texted me and I was like "Whaaaat?! I need details NOW!!" I'm really glad too that a load of GDCers got to go up. I mean, no disrespect to anyone else at the shows, but there's so many loyal, dedicated fans on this forum so naturally if anyone were to get up, you'd want it to be those people

I didn't honestly think I'd get pulled up. All I wanted was to just get a few looks here and there I've looked through flickr and found one great photo of Billie beckoning me on stage. Awww, you're so awesome. I agree with you there, there were a few people though on the tour that obviously weren't on the GDC beforehand, or still aren't on here, that got picked up during the shows. Which was cool, I guess if every person that got picked was one of us lot, it wouldn't be 'fair' to the normies and less observant...

Which was cool, I guess if every person that got picked was one of us lot, it wouldn't be 'fair' to the normies and less observant...Yup! Do you actually remember much from being up there? I don't, that's why it feels so much like a dream; I only remember bits and pieces. Like, at the very end when he was telling me to stage dive, he was talking to me for a good 20 seconds or so, but I have no idea what he said. Maybe I wasn't listening, I was just too much like "Billie Joe is beside me. I just shat myself" :whistling: It's funny, because you watch the video the odd time and notice new things you didn't notice before. Like I saw it the other day and you can see me running up to Tre's drumset at the end and as I run past Billie, he gives me a thumbs up but I totally ignore it And then he's just standing there, probably like "Where the fuck are you going?" Oh the things we wish we did in hindsight Oh yeah, is that the one where you can see him looking directly at you? That's a great picture Yeah, I just think that the most loyal fans are the most deserving to be up there. That might sound bad, but there's no point in someone who vaguely likes them now and again getting up on the stage when there could be someone on GDC who would KILL to get up there instead. I dunno
WhatsGirl Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 i don´t remember what i did on stage. ^^ i saw my friends in the first row. it was a great feeling, buti can not describe it. the whole concert is like a dream for me.

Same here.I know what I did on stage. But I just can't remember how I felt when I was on stage and I'm pretty sad about that, 'cause it was an amazing feeling. It's like there was someone else on stage and I know what she did, but it wasn't me
WhatsGirl Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 it´s really funny, to hear this all. we had all the same feelings when we was on stage... i´m sad too, that i don´t remember it
Sarahnade. Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I'm so happy for and jealous of you all.
Juliette Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 So do I! Makes me smile.Especially Isabels cos omg look at Billie's adorable smile when she's singing I agree, it is possibly the cutest photo ever
Isabel Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 It's like there was someone else on stage and I know what she did, but it wasn't me That's EXACTLY how I feel.Everyone I know was like "Ehhhhh, are you sure that was you? Were you drunk?! You're not normally that crazy!"
Pharmakon Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 i wouldn't get your hopes up too much. stuff like this only happens when you're least expecting it!Every amazing Green Day adventure that i've had has been completely unexpected.i would have never in 32908493048 lifetimes imagined all the amazing crap that's happened to me. Getting onstage, randomly flying to Vegas the night before the show, the most wonderful girl in the world handing me her VIP pass in LA so that i could meet them, having a conversation with Mike, Tre stalking me, playing with Jason W's hair, 2 nights of the musical. i'm still confused as to what i did to deserve all this.YOU PLAYED WITH JASON'S HAIR?!I would dieeee. Omg.
Pharmakon Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I came across one picture someone sent me and it looks like he's barking in my ear and I'm having an orgasm I'm definitely sigging this
GreenDay4LifeGirl Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I met Billie Joe at the American Idiot Musical in Berkeley, CA. He was with Adie. I went up to him and asked him for his autograph. He was nice and really really shy. Believe it or not but when he was walking to his seat, he looked taller in person like 5'8ish. It was the opening nite for the play. A bunch of people went up to him but he was gracious and took pics and signed autographs from his seat. Adie was a sweetheart and sooo nice and pretty in person. The entire band was there. Mike came with his daughter. I saw Billie's son Joseph as well, and he seems like a sweet kid. He looks JUST LIKE BILLIE JOE only with a tan! Jakob was there too. I met Tre after their Sacremento concert this year. His parents were visiting so he walked them to their car, and then he came over to us. He had a glass of red wine in his hand. Maybe he was feeling a little happy His Bodyguard was not so nice (in polite terms) and didn't want the fans to take pics but we did. Tre was such an adorable sweetheart cracking jokes, posing for pics, and signing autographs. All in all they are gracious and it seems as if they just want to be seen as "regular" people. BUT they are Green Day which makes it almost impossible. The play was great by the way, I met the actors after the show, and the director. Got some of their autographs as well.Hope u enjoyed
heartscollide Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 awwh I wouldn't think he was shy though But yeah, I haven't really met him.
Sarahnade. Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 ^..........YET! You will when you win VIP passes and hand Billie Joanna our wonderful rumours.
heartscollide Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 :cry:The email is taking it's sweet time.

I've always been afraid to imagine myself around them when they're signing autographs. I know when I met Chris from Less Than Jake the first thing he said to me was "Didn't you myspace us?" And I was there thinking "Errr, which time?" but I kept feeling like I was saying silly things and then wished I hadn't said anything at all But he was such a sweetheart so it was fine
greenday801440 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 So I was able to say hello to Adrienne in Albany New York 7/25/09.I was in the seated section right next to the stage almost at the same level as the pit.I was just chilling looking around and then BAM Adrienne and Jakob walked out from backstage and were walking past me.My mind suddenly went to mush and all I managed to to say was "Hi Adrienne!" She looked over at me and man, she is SOO pretty! I love her dreads :]She smiled and said hello to me, and I really wanted to get a picture with her but I forgot everything I was thinking, lol. Then, throughout the whole concert she would come back and watch the concert from a closer view, basically in front of me. I didn't want to be one of those obnoxious fans so I let her enjoy the show and didn't try to ask for a picture.Then........ During KYE Billie chose MY row to come up and play guitar. Everything happened in slow motion and I was "Holy Crap!" Billie jumped over the little barricade the separated the floor and seats (so agile!) it was amazing! Billie had two giant security guys around him that were kind of intimidating but I managed to give Billie a little hug as he was playing, then before I knew it he was trotting back down the stairs and jumped back over the barricade and then, he was back on stage! And after my dad told me his hair looked very crunchy from up close. Those would be my two Green Day encounters, lol.
Sarahnade. Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 ^BAHAHAHA BILLIE HAS CRUNCHY HAIR.And that's so cute! I'd love to meet Adrienne, she's so nice and beautiful. And the fact you hugged Billie while he was in the crowd is really amazing.
