I think the weirdest thing is when you don't expect anything and then something happens. You never know how you would react until you're actually in that situation. I went to the Paris show and we decided to walk around the venue afterwards just to look at the trucks and stuff. There was a whole crowd of people waiting (It wasn't very big) so I decided top join them. The whole time I didn't think anything would happen, I wasn't expecting anything to. After a while a few people starting coming out. I saw Jason Freese first, then Adrienne and then Mike and Brittney came out a while later. I remeber it seemed like ages before the rest of the guys came out. Then all at once, Jeff, Jason White and Billie Joe came out at once. I remeber Billie Joe waved at the us and I thought that was it, I was happy enough with just seeing them in the flesh from not too far away but then Billie started walking over to the crowd. I somehow ended up right at the railing and he was right in front of me. I've never been so starstruck in my whole life. He started signing things and when he signed this tour book thing that I had bought earlier I just said, 'I came from Ireland to see you.' He looked up for a second and said, 'oh cool, hopefully we'll see you when we play out there.' It was such a weird experience, even now it doesn't seem like it actually happened. The whole time I wasn't expecting anything and I think that's what made it so good. I don't even know how I managed to talk to him, it was so weird.

When I see Billie just standing there, on the stage, looking at me and asking me to get on the fucking stage, I was in disbelief, y'know? I still don't know why on Earth I got picked up and during a song they've never pulled up anyone for before... major freak out. I don't know what made me to run up and down the fucking stage, I really do regret that, no matter how many times people tell me how great it was.

And he was just like, using this horrid tone with us, like, almost shouting telling us to "Back off," and "could you please not approach him." And it's like, everyone was completely oblivious as to it being Tre. It's not like we wanted to endanger that or make a fucking scene.

haha that's EXACTLY what happened to me. I had a fair idea what to do if I got pulled up. But then when it actually happened, all sense of thought and memory seemed to drain away all of a sudden. I just felt like a robot, like I couldn't control what I was doing and did barely anything I had prepared for!

i got to meet them at the meet and greet in nyc. best moment of my life. mike was a complete sweetheart and hugged me. billie joe signed my wrist so i could get it tatted on and he hugged me and kissed me on my cheek :'D and i said i loved him and he replied 'i love you too' in like the sweetest voice haha. and when i met tre he pulled me over the table so he could sign my sign i had on my shirt that said 'we're meeting green day tonight and you're not!' haha. then he gave me a hug and told me what the bullwinkle was, even though he didnt tell me till i told him i was 20 haha. then i got the chance to meet adie at the MSG show on the 27th. she was SO sweet. she remembered me from the meet and greet and took a picture on her personal camera of me and my tat to show billie. i swear, i just love green day and everyone associated with them haha. all such sweethearts and pure hearted<3

Because they meet a billion people on the street and stuff. Only so many people can get pulled up on stage. And when you're on stage, they are right there with you for quite a while. You get to sing with your favorite band. You almost always get a hug, sometimes a kiss, and you get to rock out/make a fool out of yourself in front of an arena of people. I'd much rather that happen to me than have a "Uh, can I have your autograph?" type moment.
