You were at the San Antonio gig!? So was I

tehe yes, it was a great show.

that was the only one of my gigs I was in seats though. XD

And these two women behind us went to the same shows we went to (New Orleans and Houston) and they said they made sure to get seats the last night to relax after being on their feet for 2 days. XD

It was a good plan.

I love reading everyone's experiences!

I just noticed this thread existed. ::tehe: So this is gonna be a massively long post seeing as I've had a few different experiences.

I'll try and sum them up as much as I can.

Oooooooooh those stories are so awesome! :D :D

Ever since I became a fan of Green Day in 2004, I always wanted to meet them. But I'm from northern Minnesota so I never thought I'd have the chance. Little did I know, the boys decided to have a meet & greet in Fargo. I sprung at this because it did give me a chance to get their autograph's and say hey and get handshakes. It was seriously the best day of my life, and I'll never forget it.

Now, my next goal is to meet them in a setting that's not a meet and greet. I've read everyone's stories of meeting them - and I want to meet them randomly because it's more personal. So my goal... next time they come to Fargo... I'm just going to hang out around the businesses all around the Fargodome because in July...... Tre' and Mike went to tacobell. I just want to meet them again and have a more personal experience with it.

I spotted Tré when I was out shopping in Manchester on the 30th... The guy who was with him kinda spotted me looking and I think he pointed me out, because Tré turned around and looked as if to like, acknowledge me or something. So I went up to him and started babbling asking him how he was finding the city, he said it was the first time he'd been here and it hadn't rained! I said I wasn't going to the gig that night because I had to flyer outside it (I was one of the two girls flyering for Jilly's Rockworld if anyone saw me), so he asked me if I was going on Halloween and I was like "No, I'm too skint to get a ticket..." and he was like "Skint?" I felt so daft because I had to point out it meant i was dirt poor... You get the picture. So he said "Do you want to go on the guestlist then?" and I practically melted into a puddle. The other guy took my name and was explaining where to go for the tickets and Tré said "Your shoes match your bag!" and for some reason I came out with "I always try and co-ordinate ^_^" I felt like a complete moron but having Tré Cool pay attention to, and then compliment my outfit was one of the best things ever, I swear to god! So we chatted for a minute or two and I said bye, thanks for the tickets mumblemumlble etc, and he said "See you later, punk girl... Megan..." So I had to drag my jaw off the floor and call my mum to tell her what happened XD

The best bit was, when I went to the gig the next night, he saw me in the stands! I was fucking about with my friend blowing kisses and he caught one and blew it back, I could have exploded! Then he did that thing where you point at your eyes and then to whoever your watching at me... It was amazing. He looked over a few times during the rest of the gig too, I've never danced so hard in my life : D

omfg that is actually awesome!!! Where was he shopping at?

That's awesome about Tre! I know that him and I were pulling faces a lot over the 8 shows that I went to. I think I beat him

He was so awesome. I one point I pulled a particulary horrible one and he went 'yeah' and punched the air with his fist ahaha

then i looked away, and then looked back and he was smiling at me : D

(i could be imagining things, but still  )

I was coming out of H&M and I saw him walking past the Arndale... I talked to another girl who met him when I was at work last week and she said he went to Hard Rock Café too!

Holy crap. I was in the Arndale the next day. I was mainly around American Graffiti on the 30th, I loved that store. A group of us went to the Hard Rock Cafe the on the 29th when we got into Manchester, but they said we had to wait for 2 hours to get us seated as a group of 10. Taking the piss.

Yeah the guys on the door of Hard Rock are always complete ballbags, that's Manchester for you, haha.

I really wanted to eat in there, too. Guh, I thought about going the next day, too. In the end, we went to Old Louisianna (I think I've spelt that wrong.) but it was the nicest place. I'm surprised we all didn't get kicked out there.

For the FBHT show my camera died. XD

But the picture of me meeting Tre the second time is in my sig. :D

at the show in cologne on 5th october during jaded, billie got off the stage and climed on the barrier right infront of the catwalk.

and well, because i was right exactly at this point, where he climed it, in the first row, and my face was right - yeah - in stomach. and i hugged him soo hard xD but afterwards i thought 'damn, you should have stolen his bandana :pinch::lol:  but anyway it was a highlight.

BUT - yeah the big but xD - just like, 15 seconds later everything was topped when mike came on the catwalk to play the intro of longview he gave me his hand :) that was an awesome minute xD

 You felt his stomach... that visual makes me laugh.

At my show, when Mike was playing the intro to Longview right in front of me, he knighted a shirt I was holding up with his bass. I felt like a queen after that moment.
