I spotted Tré when I was out shopping in Manchester on the 30th... The guy who was with him kinda spotted me looking and I think he pointed me out, because Tré turned around and looked as if to like, acknowledge me or something. So I went up to him and started babbling asking him how he was finding the city, he said it was the first time he'd been here and it hadn't rained! I said I wasn't going to the gig that night because I had to flyer outside it (I was one of the two girls flyering for Jilly's Rockworld if anyone saw me), so he asked me if I was going on Halloween and I was like "No, I'm too skint to get a ticket..." and he was like "Skint?" I felt so daft because I had to point out it meant i was dirt poor... You get the picture. So he said "Do you want to go on the guestlist then?" and I practically melted into a puddle. The other guy took my name and was explaining where to go for the tickets and Tré said "Your shoes match your bag!" and for some reason I came out with "I always try and co-ordinate ^_^" I felt like a complete moron but having Tré Cool pay attention to, and then compliment my outfit was one of the best things ever, I swear to god! So we chatted for a minute or two and I said bye, thanks for the tickets mumblemumlble etc, and he said "See you later, punk girl... Megan..." So I had to drag my jaw off the floor and call my mum to tell her what happened XD

The best bit was, when I went to the gig the next night, he saw me in the stands! I was fucking about with my friend blowing kisses and he caught one and blew it back, I could have exploded! Then he did that thing where you point at your eyes and then to whoever your watching at me... It was amazing. He looked over a few times during the rest of the gig too, I've never danced so hard in my life : D

This story is so cute! It's so cool so many people get to meet Green Day, but for me to meet Green Day, I'd have my best chances of catching them by stalking their tour bus.

I just noticed this thread existed. ::tehe: So this is gonna be a massively long post seeing as I've had a few different experiences.

I'll try and sum them up as much as I can.

I met every member of Foxboro (+Kevin) at the New Orleans FBHT show last year. I met Bill Schneider too and he remembered me later on that night. XD

I met Kevin first. I was underage at the time (16 and it was an 18+ gig D: )

The security guy knew how huge a fan I was (I was waiting outside that show since like 7/8 that night just to hear FBHT live) so he let me go inside to meet Kevin. He was sweet and joked with us a bit.

Bill Schneider (Pinhead Gunpowder, some people I've told this to dunno who he is XD) was the second person I met. I saw him come outside and I just ran up to him and went "Bill! Can you sign my poster?" and he went "Wait, I'm not in the band" I laughed and went "But you're Bill and I love you" and he smiled and let me touch his hair and drew a cartoon of himself on my poster.

The security guy let me and my friend inside again when he saw us gasp at Billie and Tre. XD But Billie and Tre went backstage before we had a chance to talk to them. Bill S came up again and saw us and went "You girls are just getting closer and closer"

Mike came out a few minutes later and he was AMAZING. He said he felt bad that we couldn't get into the show but thought it was pretty awesome we snuck into the bar. And so he signed my poster and my friends shirt and we got off the stairs and just watched him criticize songs on the jukebox in the bar. XD

A security guy saw us and kicked us out. Mike came outside again and went "Why are you outside?" and we said we got kicked out and he went "Man, that sucks" So he hung with us for a while. Talked to my friend on the phone. Told us about how his mom lives in Louisiana and how he used to get daiquiris but they wouldn't give them straws and yeah. lol. It was so amazing. He's really one of the sweetest people ever. So he was going inside again and before he walked inside he looked back at my poster and went "Who do you got?" (meaning signatures) and I went "Well I've only got Bill, Kevin and you." and he said "Well if you two just hung out here maybe they'll come out." and he winked at me and walked inside.

Freese came out later and I ran up to him. He is, without a doubt, the most amazing guy I've ever met. We got along so well I can't really explain it. I just felt relaxed around him. We talked about Katrina and New Orleans and all kinds of stuff and afterwards he said "Let me give you my email and next time we tour I'll get you tickets" so I freaked in my head and let him give me his email. I mean seriously, that's not what I was expecting.

So as Freese is writing down his email I hear someone singing David Bowie and I know it's Billie. My friend said I gaped at him. XD I asked kinda quietly if Freese could get him to come over here and he YELLED at him to come over and meet us. XDD

I did good meeting everyone else but meeting Billie was like... I dunno, a religious experience or something.

I think when you spend the greater part of your life idolizing someone it's surreal when they're right in front of you.

Well anyway so he comes up and hugs me, rubbing his hair in my face. XD I stuttered out a hello and barely held a few sentences with him. But it was still amazing.

Then I turn around and see Tre. He was so drunk at this point he was barely standing. XD He gives me a bear hug and stabs me with my sharpie and goes "That'll leave a mark" and I went "Yeah, a bruise" (it actually did. my friend checked the next day. XD) And he signed "Lee Harvey Osmond" on my poster and left.

The next day I got an email reply from Freese and Billie commented me from the Church of Lushotology MySpace saying he was glad he met me. =O

There was a problem with the tickets from Freese at the New Orleans show (I went to New Orleans, Houston and San Antonio this tour). And they weren't there. I emailed him my cell # in case he could get in contact with me before the show but I had an extra GA ticket and had to turn my cell off for the show.

So I get out and have 4 texts from a # I don't know and it's Jason. He walked down to the will call right after the opening band came on to bring the tickets but he just missed me.

We texted a bit more after that show and he drove his little motorbike around trying to find us but we missed each other. I told him I was going to Houston (I originally bought seats) and he said he'd give me GA tickets so he ended up actually giving me 4 GA tickets and 4 Aftershow passes.

The aftershow party was cancelled that night but still, just the fact that he did that was incredible. I can never thank him enough.

right before I got the last text from Freese, Tre came out and met the people waiting by the buses so that's how I met Tre the second time. He said he loved my shirt (I was wearing a Lushotology shirt) XD It was pretty awesome. Too bad security was rushing him through us. He looked like he wanted to stay longer.

in Houston a security guard walked up to me and gave me Billie's guitar pic.

in San Antonio a tour truck driver gave me one of Tre's drumsticks.
