lovelyrita Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Next time I just have to be on the stage, I have to! How do You think, will they come back to Europe with 21st CB tour? (say yes, say yes! )
Minority_GD Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 If someone really wants to get on stage, then he should do a sign . They usually take people with a sign , cause they see them easily and can be sure that the one's really able to do it.

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Haha next time I'm sooooo gonna make a sign.Last time it worked (), so I hope it will work again
Mrs. Nobody Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 It was amazing! And yeah, I did do a stage dive. My first one ever! And he told me to land on my back on top of the crowd haha that's so cool !so you sort of turned mid jump? scary =)mino; I just worry too much ;D, I'll just have to push and shove my way through :whistling: or pretend to be sick
Minority_GD Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 mino; I just worry too much ;D, I'll just have to push and shove my way through :whistling: or pretend to be sick*coughs* sorry, swine flu *coughs*
Sarahnade. Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Awesome, Isabel! Your ava is such a great shot! Guess who's making a sign her next GD show? UH, ME. Possibly.Didn't you have a sign saying "Me + JOS = <3" ? I got up because Mike saw my sign and told Billie Joe to pick me. Mike = What did your sign say?
Isabel Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 haha that's so cool !so you sort of turned mid jump? scary =)Yeah, I don't know why he told me to do it that way. I was like "On my back??" when he said it But I just did it, I wasn't really thinking. It turned out ok too, no broken bones or anything Awesome, Isabel! Your ava is such a great shot! Guess who's making a sign her next GD show? UH, ME. Possibly. What did your sign say? Thanks!! I'm assuming it was taken by the band's photographer because I found it on their official website My sign
-Billiejoezee- Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 This is how i'll do things next time.I get mosh pit.I go dressed with bright colors: My rainbow bracelets and rainbow arm warmers, neon yellow jeans, and a neon green shirt. Then i'll make a poster that'll say: I can sing Longview better than Billie Joe.joking
Isabel Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Haha I thoroughly advise you to do that.Just don't hog the mic like I did
Sarahnade. Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 LOL. I'll make a sign that says "I can sing Longview" too. And, Josie, you should totally put that.Isabel, did your venue allow signs, or did you have to sneak it in? Because at the Chicago show I went to, signs weren't allowed. I was talking to this young girl there, and she was making a sign, and I told her the guards said we weren't allowed them, so she folded it and stuffed it in her shirt. lol But wouldn't billie get mad??No! I think he'd be like, "Get your ass up here and prove it!"
Minority_GD Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Use pillow cases!!!You can easily hide them under your shirt!
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 ^ Or use plastic bags, you can fold those up easily, use 'em as a bag, and hold it above your head when it rains
Isabel Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 lol But wouldn't billie get mad??I think he'd be left licking his wounds if you gave a better performance than he ever had. But I don't think anyone could ever sing it better than he does Isabel, did your venue allow signs, or did you have to sneak it in? Because at the Chicago show I went to, signs weren't allowed. I was talking to this young girl there, and she was making a sign, and I told her the guards said we weren't allowed them, so she folded it and stuffed it in her shirt. There was a sign saying "No flags or banners" but that was because of the location (Belfast, Non republican county of Ireland)No one said anything to me when I pulled it out
Sarahnade. Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Ah, alright. I'll probably use a pillow case.
Mrs. Nobody Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 I'm having so much fun youtubing you guys watching you sing, it's amazing =)edit: oh ffs, at the gig im going to, you're aloud to take a banner as long as it's no bigger than 40 x 60 cm. bollocks, i'll email them to be sure
-Billiejoezee- Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 lol I know i'll suck if i go up.LMAO I'll write on a pillow,and i'll throw it to billie.
Isabel Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 See I never look at it as if the person is a good singer or not. I love the ones who have loads of energy and the ones who can get a crowd going. Who cares if you can't sing? It's all about having fun and going crazy :wink:Plus, I found it very hard to sing it actually. The music was so loud that I had to pretty much shout the lyrics
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 I'll write "I know Longview" on my sign (well, if the concert will ever come, that is), so I won't lie about being able to 'sing'edit: haha timing, hadn't seen that ^ post when I wrote this xD
Sarahnade. Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 I can't sing worth shit. I agree with Isabel, though. The guy that sang Longview at my show sucked, but he was so into it and jumping around that he pulled it off.
Isabel Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Yeah, I mean, my singing came out terrible even though I can normally do alright. It was just so hard to sing loud enough to be heard without having to shout too much
