JeanJeanie Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I do the same. It's sad, but I spend more time thinkin about what to wear to concerts than nice dinners/dances/stuff you should worry about dressing for...it took me 3 hours to dress for my first GD show. Of course, now I don't have to worry...Frustrators tee and yellow plaid always a good choice I do the same thing, lol. I've been trying to find cool stuff to wear -- I'm going to look like a freaking bag of Skittles puked on me. For one to nine minutes that stage will be mine.

Of course, now I don't have to worry...Frustrators tee and yellow plaid always a good choice Exactly! And good clothing choice. Next show, I'm probably going to go by some vibrant/neon tanktop or something. Just to wear something that pops. Last show, I wore my Green Day shirt and so were 456486714798797 other people. I'm sure Billie would notice a blinding bright shirt. Hopefully. And I'm going to have to get cool sunglasses or something too.Oh yeah lol I think billie saw me when i fell on my ass too.You fell?
alaniluau Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I yelled at Billie and we made eye contact for a second. It was cool. And at one point during my show, Jason White came out from his corner where he stayed practically the whole night. And being the Jason fan I am, I screamed my lungs out at him. He kinda looked toward my area like " wtf" It was priiiiiiiceless.
Sarahnade. Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I made an at least 20 second eye contact with Billie during Good Riddance. It was hilarious because we were staring at each ohter, but I was thinking, "There is NO way he is looking at me. Especially for this long." So I kept looking at Billie and tried to make sure if his gaze was on me. I looked around a little at other people and looked back at Billie, and he was still looking at, but he was smiling. I think he knew what I was thinking.
alaniluau Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 ^ Haha that's so cute. I would've done the same thing.

JHyena86 Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Making eye contact with any member is one of the best feelings ever. I was in the car tonight listening to FBHT, and I ALWAYS remember the first time I made eye contact with Mike- during Mother Mary at "I'll be your saint, I'll be your man" he looked out and had eye contact with me and smiled. I always remember that...it was amazing moment. There was WAY more eye contact later that night, and all throughout Houston, but that was the best.I remember making eye contact with the others too, sorta...but not as much
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 well that's a great place too. shame you couldn't shake their hands, because you had a good place for that really. everytime billie or mike were shaking hands they stopped right in front of me. Yeah same here. One time Billie shaked hands with the people on my left, stopped, walked a metre, and started shaking hands with the people on my right
Minority_GD Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Just a quick question, 'cause I don't wanna open a new topic:Would you rather like to meet GD somewhere or get pulled up on stage to sing/play guitar?
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I think pulled up on stage.Meeting them somewhere would be absolutely awesome too, but I would fuck up so badly, don't know what to say, forget how to speak English and make a complete tool out of myself. But I don't think about it so often, since I know it won't happen anyway.
Katarina. I want to sing Longview so bad! I'll make a sign with something like "I know how to sing Longview" the next time I go to one of their shows

Mrs. Nobody Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 ^It's good to be prepared! They won't come back to the US until next year, and I'm already thinking of what I'll wear to stand out and stuff. I keep reciting Longview in my head randomly to see if I can think of all the lyrics off the top of my head. Just in case. Lol, yeah.. I've got more important things to think about though, but still I don't really care about what I'll wear, as long as it's not black. I've already made eye contact with quite a few bands, probably cause I don't hesitate smiling/headbanging/dancing.. not so much about the clothing.. True they'll probably notice if you wear fluorescent stuff aha, but im not that sort of person =Dedit: and sanne, what was the stuff you gave to billie? =P
Sarahnade. Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Just a quick question, 'cause I don't wanna open a new topic:Would you rather like to meet GD somewhere or get pulled up on stage to sing/play guitar?I'd rather be on stage singing. It's a better memory, I think. And they'll remember you more than if you randomly met them on the street. Only a handful of people have gotten yanked up on stage, whereas they've met a billion people on the street.
save_a_drum_bang_tre_cool_chick Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 i didn't exactly meet them but me and my boyfriend held up a sign during a gig in belgium and billie laughed at us but couldn't read it and so he put his hand over his face to show that he couldn't see it properly you can see it in this video at about 2.17. that's when he starts laughing at us.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQwONAVMU2o

Then I could just talk to them and ask how Mike does his side beards :]

It was sooooo adorable!
