Mari91 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 !And, yeah, I'm getting on that stage and singing Longview. No question, lmfao. I'm going to wear neon colors or something - anything to make me stand out. And make eye contact a lot if I can. And try to control myself unlike my Chicago show. I felt like an idiot, but everytime Billie came down the cat walk and was RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME, I was like, "BILLIE BILLIE BILLIE OMG BILLIE BILLIE HOLY SHIT BILLIE."WEAR ORANGE! who wears orange to a gd concert? all you see is a sea of black lmao id probably throw myself at himhell jason freese could have walked over to me and i would have thrown myself at him lolthough my concert some guy just jumped on stage, the guards were holding him back but billie pulled him up. he got on stage and started dancing. so if you act like a maniac, you might be able to get on stagenext time they come, im joining the idiot club, i need to be on the rail
-Billiejoezee- Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I have a question, when someone gets pit tickets, how early do you gotta be there?

Nele Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Wow..thats early lol.So you gotta get there early to get front row right?yeah i know. but believe me there are people who will be there even earlier then i'm. i'm just fucking crazy and yeah i want in the front row that's why i'll be there so early, maybe it's not even necessary who knows.

I have to sing longview!I'll try to calm you down but you have to calm me down ,too This is will be very funny
-Billiejoezee- Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Lolz i remember at the san diego concert people weren't really in line..I mean when the pink bunny came up there was hardly any people in the pit...but then it started to get full.
JeanJeanie Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 WEAR ORANGE! who wears orange to a gd concert? all you see is a sea of blackI did and my mom up in the nose bleeds said I looked like a turning signal because I never stopped jumping and was the only one in color -- they'd definately see you.
-Billiejoezee- Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I did and my mom up in the nose bleeds said I looked like a turning signal because I never stopped jumping and was the only one in color -- they'd definately see you.So if I wear a neon Green shirt....
JHyena86 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I got to the Houston show around noon. There were prolly around 30 people there. But I dunno how many people in the front of the line got to the front of the pit 'cause I was at soundcheck. I'd show up really early just in case though.
-Billiejoezee- Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 thanks for the advise, for next show of course..
Sarahnade. Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Next Green Day concert, I'm getting a lime or neon green shirt, weird sunglasses, and anything else I can work up that'll make me stand out.And at my show, I went about 6 hours early. I was with my friend from GDC, Modern Zero, and we just sat there on the concrete. My ass was so numb, haha. And people around us had blankets and shit and were just talking. There were probably only 30 people there. My friend and I had a walkman and just listened to 21CB over and over again, haha. And then we rushed to give the walkman back to her mom to put in the van.But people didn't really start coming until an hour before. But it was awesome because I was the first person in line. I had my hand on the door handle. It was hilarious becaue this woman came close to the door, and we thought they were going to open the doors, so everyone was like, "OPEN OPEN OPEN PLEASE" but she just changed the trash bag in a garbage can, and everyone groaned in unison. AND THEY WERE 5 MINUTES LATE OPENING THE DOORS. Ugh.And about an hour before the doors opened, I REALLY had to piss, so my friend's mom walked me to a nearby library which was the closest bathroom. But when the doors did open, I went in and they searched me and I ran through the turnstile and grabbed a GA bracelet, ran down the steps, and got right in front of the catwalk! Then waited about 2 hours for them to come on.After the show, when we were driving home, my friend was chugging back cans of Mt. Dew, and I was drinking water, but my nerves started going crazy and I threw up on myself. So when we got back to the hotel, I was walking around the lobby looking like I pissed myself. :/ /meaningless post.
Mari91 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 great story sarahtheres no such thing as a meaningless post

Sarahnade. Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Thanks, guys. I love talking about my show a bit too much. Another thing to get noticed is to buy cheap artificial roses and attach a sloppy note to them and hold them up high so Billie can see them. Billie will motion for you to throw them, and he'll catch them and stick them in the neck of his guitar and play the rest of Know Your Enemy with them in there. And the very next day you'll find videos of it and photos of it all over the web. And it'll make you very, very happy. At least that's what happened to me. A picture of Billie reading my note is in my sig. It makes me insanely happy; I never get sick of talking about that either.
Sarahnade. Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 What did you write in the note?"Here's these flowers we picked for all the hours that we spent with you...at the Chicago show! Love, Sarah and Chelsea."Lame, I know, but we found it hilarious. And Billie laughed, so it was great.

I mean seriously,If billie read a letter by me,I'd need him to know how much me luurrrrvvveesss him.

Hermione Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Ahh I well wanna sing Longview. But my sister does too, so I think we really should decide which one of us should try to get picked so that one of us can help the other be noticed. Hmm :/
