Meeting/Kissing/etc. Green Day

I was shopping with my friend once and in that store I saw Billie Joe and Adrienne (well I didn't see them but my friend did) and she pointed them out and I was like, that's not them, she looked at me and was like dude yes it is so I looked closer and was like OMG its them!!! So we didn't really no what to do...do we walk up to them or do we leave them alone...we desided to just stare at them and than Adrienne said something into Billie's ear and he turned around and saw that we were staring and normally when someone catches me staring at them i usually quickly look away but I didn't this time, billie waved so my friend took it as a chance and grabbed my arm and dragged me over to them, we said hello my friend has like a weird crush on Adie and wouldn't stop staring and Adie started to look a little okward so I nudged my firend and she was just like "oh..your're so pretty!" Adrienne and Billie both laughed so ya we got to be right behind them in the lineup..it was pretty cool. And I wont say what store becasue they seamed like regualr custumers (the casher seemed to know them quite well and struck up conversation makeing our wait in line just a tad bit longer) and i don't want anyone going to the store to try and track Billie or his wife down

Henderson Dirnt, you're story made me smile. Love him telling security to be useful for once, and yeah he's a lot shorter in person! I remember thinking that too. 'Cause I knew he was my height, but I always imagined him to be taller...haha

I want a picture with Mike soooo bad. Rawr! I forgot about it when I met him. Was too awestruck...and now people ALWAYS want to see "that pic with Mike" and I'm like "I don't have one, fuck off."

After some time you just feel like it wasn't real and want a picture of it .

I think if i would try to meet them i would say i'm taking pictures of other stuff before the show...way before and then see if i could meet them. I do alo t of photography so it might be succussful

Yeah. I know exactly what you mean. I remember now though...when I met Tim Armstrong from Rancid he made me take a picture like 4 times 'cause the lighting was bad...it was funny

Sadly I've never touched him. I've shaken Billie's hand and crowdsurfed him too (I think I mighta gotten to touch his ass, not really sure though it all happened so fast). But every time Mike would reach out near my someone tall would shake his hand and then he'd have to play again. At the FBHT one he actually tried reaching OVER the guy to get me, but he and I were just too short. He gave me a really sweet smile to make up for it though...and then did dirty things for me during Blood, Sex, and Booze

And my advice for meeting them would be to hang out down around where they are playing. They usually are out getting lunch and stuff. Or find the loading dock afterwards. I don't know how your show will be set up, but when I saw them it was impossible to get near them 'cause the dock was below the parking lot and blocked off. But some shows they aren't. All depends.

Yeah, exactly. Did anybody ever expect Green Day to have a meet and greet in Fargo? I never thought I'd actually have a chance to meet them...I hoped, but I didn't think it would ever happen. But it did.

That is cute! I remember the first time I saw a picture of them was at a music store with my sis. She and I were looking at posters and we saw the Rolling Stone cover one and she was like "I love Green Day! Billie is awsome!" and I was like wtf who? And I looked and I was like "Wow why is that one guy so old compared to the other two?"

I thought Mike was like...50 cause he had the white hair and pictures make him look old...and that Tre an Billie were like 22...haha
