They absolutely were, far as I could tell. I'm bummed I didn't get to see Billie Joe, but he was out mingling before the show. Just not where I was lol

And yes, that's exactly what his hair reminded me of lol I've not seen his hair that long in yeeeears. He looked good, though.

I'm going to a Meet and Greet next weekend and I can't imagine what it'll be like, what I would say when I actually get to meet them, how awkward it will be, and if I'll be able to do anything at all except stare. I'm super nervous.. haha

This thread makes me depressed .

No, not really, it's good to know so many of you have met them and they've been really nice.

I wanna be one of those lucky people. LOL Congrats to those of you who met them. These are great stories!

I can´t really imagine to go to a meet and greet like the ones at Hot Topic. Meeting them after a show was sooo much more unconventional and at least after that you are not told to leave haha Although after a show you don´t really know if someone´s gonnna get out or even stops to chat with fans. I´m glad Billie at least did so

Nope.

Do they go out on a meet and greet wth fans after shows or soemthing?

Yeah after most smaller shows. :) It depends.

I met Billie before the radio show in Berlin this year. He called me "his little one" and told me to enjoy the show. I got a hug and later on in the show he held my hand during a song.

I also mouthed to Tre "I love you!" and he saluted and made a Tre-face.

Was the most awesomest night everrrrrr.

I hope that the guys stick around after the concert I'm going to. I'd love to try to talk to them, even if it was only for ten seconds. I have intentions on writing a little letter by hand a day or two before the concert, and I'm going to (try) to give the letter to Billie, Mike, or Tre'. It doesn't matter who I give it to, since it will be addressed to all of them. But if they won't stick around after the show, I don't know what I'll do. Maybe (since I'll be in the pit) I can try to get to the front and give it to Billie or Mike. (But not Tre', since he will obviously be on the drums, and therefore, he couldn't grab the letter.) Do you think it's worth a shot to make a letter and try to give it to one of the guys? Or do you guys think I won't be able to give it to them, and it will be just a wasted effort?

DO IT. ITS WORTH IT.

I wanted to when I saw them at Bowery and I was a bit skeptical but I gave it to Mike after the show as he walked by me. He looked at me, holding it up and said "thanks for this".

I'll do it, then. :)

Would a show of 1000-1500 consider to be a 'small' show?

For Green Day, yes.

I'm considering doing the same & paper airplaning it onto the stage if I can get close enough.

I would like to get an opportunity to meet them, but not at a meet and greet like the ones at fucking Hot Topic.
